What a beautiful villa and in a fantastic locale. I retired to Italy 5 years ago and I live in Abruzzo. Congratulations to your family.
I am Italian American and love seeing this! Italy is my favorite place to visit. Coming next year! You have a beautiful family!
The tree with yellow fruit is called Nespole in Italian or Loquat in English.
Beautiful home!!!! I moved with my family from Tampa, FL in the summer of 2021, but we moved to Greece. Best decision we ever made. 😊 Thank you for the tour!!

The tree with small yellow fruits is called nespole.Lecce is not by the sea must a small place nearby. North of Italy is not as warm as Puglia in the winter. I lived in Los Angeles, Miami, London etc..now I live in Puglia too.

Thank you! 🙏 I tried it and it’s delicious. San Cataldo I’ve mad the drive at least 20-25 times and it takes me no more than 20 minutes to arrive in Lecce. The Lecce Football stadium is also near by about 10 to 15 minutes drive from their house. Lecce is not on the coast, it is inland but not far from the sea at all.

@@bentravelstvhey buddy. When you went up on the flat roof I gotta tell ya it needs some work or it will leak and ruin your mother and dads work inside . All the organic growth needs cleaned off . Then all the grout joints need inspected and if any need work they should be redone. When all that’s done a sealer should be applied to may sure the roof is water tight.
Wow, your parents hit a home run with this one. Congrats!
The tree is loquat or kumquat . Gorgeous property. You are blessed
this moving literally will add 10 years to their life.
Absolutely gorgeous!!! The house is spectacular!!! Anita, you are a professional interior designer!! So happy for you and your family!!❤❤❤
W❤W!! The huge outdoors and being gated is a plus. I’m from San Diego (Carlsbad) Cali, and love this! Beautiful family! You go mom and dad! I love they are soo happy and I feel like I’d be happy there as well. We have another trip planned in a few weeks and will be looking at some homes. 🏠 Thank you for this. ❤
Nice video...all the best to you and your parents. I hope to be moving to Italy soon. Italy, is all about culture and family. If you are going to the Amalfi coast, please visit Sorrento. While in Tuscany, visit the historical centers (Centro storico) of Siena and Arezzo, also San Gimignano. You will be brought back to Medieval and Renaissance times. Another suggestion, visit Assisi in the region of Umbria. It is the birthplace and burial site of Saint Francis, Saint Clare and Carlo Acutis, the 15 year old soon to be canonized a saint. His body is incorruptible and you can view him in his glass coffin. Italy is amazing. Enjoy! God bless all of you.❤️🙏🇮🇹❤️
That tree with a small yellow fruits, in soCal We call them loquat trees.

Ben! My wife and I are visiting Italy in September Lordwilling,.. thanks for the vlogging ! It all helps and inspires!! Beautiful family! Portugual bound hopefully also!! Blessings!!
The tree is a loquat, the fruit is ripe on the tree for a short time. Didn't your parents choose well, fabulous home.
Not a mess at all. Lived in with love. Beautiful home. Thank you for sharing. We bought our retirement home in Umbria. Now we are looking for a 2nd home in Italy near the beach. Lecce looks like a great option😊
Italy beautiful 😊
The tree with yellow orange fruit is a Loquat tree.
Beautiful update. Great video. wish your parents all the luck in their new home.
I love this!!! I recently moved to Spain and enjoying my journey. I will now put Puglia on my list to visit.
What a beautiful story!
What a blessing. I also traveled a lot with hubby. A military man. I only wish I could have stayed and lived in Europe. Germany is my love. We lived there. But I traveled a lot in Italy as well. I would love to finish my years out in Europe. What a blessing to do what you love. God bless you all.
where in Lecce?? How did they finally find the workers. We are buying a smaller house and we need to renovate a bathroom and add one. but we are in the Ionic Sea Side by Gallipoli. Beautiful house your parents have.
Go live with Mom and Dad. That’s a lot of property to care for. Live together ❤
Wow love this and the family story ❤
I am an Italian/Australian but my Father was from the South also….Cosenza in Calabria is around 3 1/2 hours from Lecce in Puglia and my Cousins all have beach homes…I would totally renovate the roof area into another entertainment area but with an interior staircase leading up to that area…even to partially enclose it.There is so much space up there and would even be nice for a rooftop pool and jacuzzi ….expensive I know but not as expensive as it would be elsewhere ❤
Nice intro, I enjoyed the backstory.
I made the move to Lecce in January 2020, just before COVID. Even with the constraints in freedom here, it was great. Now, I have a home in a seaside town between Castro and Tricase and I love it. Best wishes to you, your family and your parents.
So beautiful love your home.
Loquat tree. They’re tasty!
Beautiful!
What a beautiful home! or should I say: What a beautiful "estate".
Thanks, lovely villa for your family to visit. Some Italians head to the coast in August as it’s cooler but they head everywhere in Italy. ! Some yes go to Puglia but it’s quite far sway from most of the big cities. Go around Italy’s coastline in the summer - all along the west coast, the east coast, and the islands. Packed with beach resorts and Italians. Obviously not everything closes down in August - mainly construction companies and industries, some civil servants etc. All shops etc still open. Most shops and offices close 1pm to 5pm daily for lunch year long..same in all Med countries. Beautiful area..lovely in winter too when quiet.

The fruit is called a Loquat or Japanese Plum. I grew up in Fresno, CA and there used to be a lot of those trees there but not anymore.
Puglia is beautiful
I think those fruits are loquats. My mom has a tree in her backyard in Florida.
Thank you for sharing your family's beautiful villa. I love your mom's taste in interior design... a beautiful transformation... the stonework looks beautiful. I have been researching Europe to relocate to as well... Canada is not the same either... and not in a good way. The AirBnB you ended your video with looks amazing!! I'll be watching for your videos!!

Oh my gosh congratulations thanks for showing this tour. I am just addicted to watching everything about Italy now during overtime in there myself I follow a guy just Italy that does a lot in PA. It’s so beautiful there. I thought Tuscany was for me, but I don’t know the sea is just so enticing.
Beautiful! Can you share a bit about the process of how they found and purchased? Thanks
Beautiful view!
God bless you guys. Enjoy it with hoof health and joy all together ❤🎉
Beautiful area and house 🏡 very nice of your parents to build the house thinking of the accommodations for the all family 🙏😎❤️

I’m telling you Italy is where to go. You’re talking about the weather as the same which as far as anyone in the world concerned California has but but Italy has the best life the best food and you don’t have 7 million zombies walking through California without a Social Security card.
Welcome to Italy!!!😊👍🏼

It looks like a loquat tree. 8:27

Loquat tree.
Curious, do they have Italian drivers license? Or is the car registered to a business? Just wondering what it takes to drive in Italy.
Beautiful. Do you know name of airbnb?
Did your parents visit various places before? How did they pick Italy and Lecce area? My hubs and are also scouting retirement in a different country (Panama, S.A., Portugal, etc.) and have started to book exploratory trips to different areas and countries. Did they have a list of countries that they went through?
They're
Do the home have central air conditioning??
Your music is way off your in Italy but your using Caribbean music ? Maybe some Italian music
So…what is the price of such type of house and land?
Did your parents have to get a non-lucrative Visa? The process of how they did it would be very interesting.
😂👏👏👏👏👏
