Great video, very informative. I'd love to hear more about the possibility of installing solar panels. I just bought a 2001 Roadtrek and have seen the after market panels mounted on the roof. I'm also interested in installing kayak racks on the roof if its possible. I know they have side mounted systems as well.

I enjoyed your video & gave you a thumbs up. You did a great job recording it! I just purchased a used, 1999 Dodge Roadtrek 190 Popular, with 135000 miles on it that I am now living in full time. Before I purchased my Roadtrek, I had my mechanic go through it with a fine tooth comb. My mechanic told me that the underside of my Roadtrek is a rust bucket from bumper to bumper. He also told me that 3 out of 5 Roadtreks are rust buckets on the underside, but mine is all surface rust (No Cancer). My Roadtrek needed some work inside (But All 1999 Roadtreks need some work). After I told my mechanic that the seller wanted $10,000 cash for the Roadtrek, my mechanic said "buy it now". These Roadtreks are fantastic. I love my Roadtrek! Again, Great Video! Keep up the good recordings....

You have inspired us to buy a Roadtrek . We live in Ireland but have just imported a 190 rust free model from Japan with 30,000 miles on it. . Japan to England then shipped to Ireland. We have had numerous motorhomes , most 25 - 32 ft however most of time they remained parked because of size . Not easy driving a large motorhome on narrow Irish roads. Your videos have been very helpful and much appreciated. I read one nasty comment from someone critising the Roadtrek. What sort of people criticise someone elses pride and joy. Says a lot about them. Anyway thanks again for all the time and work you have put into the videos , they are great. Best wishes, Gary&Pat in Ireland. Pic is our 2 girls who will enjoy the day trips and runs to special events.

We like the four seats. It becomes our lounge area. Almost like recliners and being able to put up our feet. :-)

No Showering the curtain pulls out and gives plenty of room.

We loved the four seats up front in the Versatile, but didn't like the crosswise bed. We would have preferred the twin bed set up with the Popular. Doesn't take long to figure these things out once you get them. Good luck to you. Thanks for watching.

Thanks. Good luck with your decision. We loved our Versatile, but the only negative was the crosswise sleeping in the bed in back. It was tough for the person in the back (me). We are too old and decrepit for that any more. Haha. It shouldn't be an issue if you are the only traveler. We love the 4 seats in the Versatile. The front seats turn around and that becomes a great lounging area or seating for meals and that allowed us to leave the bed made up all the time. You just have to figure out what features are important to you. Thanks so much for watching. Hope you find your Roadtrek.

I have a few questions about your RV. Do the seats in the middle have seatbelts? If yes are they lap only or lap and chest belts? How tall is the floor to the roof? Can you stand up inside comfortably? Thanks for any help you can give!

I have a 2003 Roadtrek 190 set up exactly like yours and I really like the refrigerator you installed. I have the three way fridge but it does not cool very well. I was thinking about replacing it with one similar to yours. where did you purchase the fridge?

You would have to change the cupboards to get a bigger one in.

No, didn't add any of those. I did put on a Steering Box Stabilizer. I have a video on it on my Roadtrek playlist. Steering is still sloppy.

I miss it, Bob not so much. I loved hanging out in it. It was also a good back up for when we had storms or lost power.

I have a 1994 Roadtrek 190 Versatile. This looks more like a 190 “Popular” model.

I just bought a 99 on dodge chassis from a widow and she didn't know anything about sewer or city water connection, do you have any help on connecting city water, many thanks Bi

Not sure how the 99's are but ours is 2001 city water is hooked up in the drivers side compartment. Just screw the hose to the fitting. You might want to use a pressure regulater if you have high water pressure.

Lucky Dawg Productions I cannot tell.has outdoor shower hot and cold then to the left is another one above a screw off cover when I turn handle water come out another re looks off on but cannot turn with hands arthritis bad Africa to use players don't want damage would this be to tourn water off so I can use as control for city water would take pic but don't know how probably same as yours
