The house reminds me of those story books you read as a child, like the three bears, little red riding hood, sleeping beauty ect. Thats the vision i had in my mind as a child , love the video also jamaican living in germany too

I love to hear about the clay and straw concept, wood hold together without nails. In olden days houses in Jamaica were built with similar materials before the cement and blocks materials. Interesting video 📹 thanks for sharing. Nice 🏠

Mel I love Germany soooo much. It it probably the most laid back country I have every visited in Europe. And for someone that doesn't eat pork you know that country must be special to me.

Mel iam glad that your mom take to Jamaica so she really love that country and the country love her too of all the things she went through god bless her I am a Jamaican myself but I could not put up with what she go through she is very strong and you all awanderfull .family I myself is from portland andi come from a very interesting family in Port Antonio and up the valley hope to see you all when I come to ja soon like to catch up with you nice video oh like your brother ja accents they make me laugh all the time ❤ Mel keep big up portland

The old house is a beautifully kept Tudor cottage.

I love these old homes... i've come across a few in Germany & France... Cant wait to visit Germany again, I love German beer, suages and maize/corn bread in Germany is amazing!!! I simply cannot find any maize/corn bread in France that is as good as Germany's.

We call this a " tudor house" in England. They built houses to this style in tudor times, we have tudor houses that are protected and also " mock tudor" houses that are made to look the same as original tudor houses

what part of Germany is your mother from? I was station in Germany with the Canadian Army in the early 80s and 90. i was near in the black Forest a place called Lahr!
