I remember in the 1980s my friends grandfather owned the gas station on the dock where the boats fill up as well as some small cottages where we stayed. Now the cottages are no longer there and it's just a parking lot. There used to have a small grocery store which is now a gift shop and was mostly a big boardwalk. They show the bridge of johns pass in the movie summer rental. It's really changed but such a nice area and place to visit. Also how old I am lol

Yeah I can imagine a lot has changed since then lol. A lot has changed since I last worked there in 2018! I do remember seeing the old bridge in Summer Rental, before it was the big drawbridge! Thanks for watching!

Thanks for sharing this. That's he area I'm from. I miss being back home there. I'm originally from Largo, so I spent alot of my time at John's Pass and Madeira Beach or as locals know it as Mad Beach and or Dog's Beach lol.

@@88mphadventures I used 2 go there with my parents when we lived in Tampa back in late 80's. The grill & Hooters did not exist yet.

That’s right. If you take one of the Hubbard’s marina dolphins cruises, they point out the house with the pool.

I prefer Hallandale Beach Florida more it’s a beautiful city with a growing communities and businesses and a good nightlife.🫡🇺🇸❤
