Tour of Flanders is a good 10 -15 minute worth of highlights

So Eurosport , good highlights of 10 minutes for previous races and now back to 5 minutes and not showing important parts of the race ?

Actually 2 min 51 secs of highlights. If that’s the best Eurosport can do, couldn’t have been much of a race

Its either 1) their broadcast deal with the race organiser or 2) they’ve purposely giving away small highlights for free in hope people subscribe to Eurosport player for full highlights

@@eurosport - Why don't you post the three minutes that matter, then? If you could only show a minute, then Van Baarle's and Bettiol's attack & Asgreen's move with Jungels' help would be it, but they are all absent. But a full minute is wasted on escapes that went nowhere...

Missed the decisive attack of Bettiol while watching live stream and waited eagerly to see it here in the race highlights. Well, apparently not then.

like the belgians used to say when the dutch had Tom dumoulin:.. Now you dutch got also a "Tom" refering to Boonen. Maybe the spaniards will say the same now to the italians: Now you italians got also a "Alberto" ..refering to Contador lol

Everyone complaining about the short highlights, I think there is coming a How the race was won, which is 1000 times better than normal highlights.

I am really happy for him and the team, glad they are having a comeback this year

Not hating on the trainee for making this highlight video. But maybe he's not a expert on this level!

The editing on Eurosport is done by people who understand nothing about cycling. All too often they cut away from key moments of action that even a novice cyclist would know were important. They look for drama, scenery, ambience, but miss the essentials.

Kasper Asgreen rode really impressive! He was relaying for Deceuninck Quick-Step all day, and he still turned out to be the strongest from the Wolf Pack! Amazing!!!

That's was a great win. Glad a team like that won too, they deserve that.👍

Way too short, bring back the 10 min highlights, perfect format

Great editing. Show the pointless early break going but cut all the attacking in the last 100km including the winning move. Next time you might as well just show them rolling off the line and the winner crossing it. Shame because it was a great race!

Where is the rest of the highlights? You’ve been doing so well Eurosport, don’t ruin it now!

Here now a five minute video entitled “Highlights”... barely 2 minutes and 30 seconds were highlights.

For us in Italy there is not "Tour of Flandres" ...there is simply "The Flandres"..just two words...nothing less..nothing more..just two words for the the greatest race...Who wins "The Flandres" enters the olympus of cycling..Thanks Magni, Zandegù, Argentin, Bugno, Bartoli, Bortolami, Tafi, Ballan, Bettiol..and the next ones..

If they showed fantastic highlights over ten minutes long then why would anyone bother subscribing to Eurosport? Just a thought...

I have never seen anywone riding so fast on the paterberg then bettiol!!!

Carlton Kirbys commentary was awful on Sunday, more interested in being Alan Partridge than actually having a clue what is happening in the race.

Very bad highlight selection ...

@eurosport @homeofcycling It starts so good, these highlights:"This is a distillation of everything cycling is all about". Indeed this race today was one of the highlights of cycling. But why don't you then make a Highlights edition with all the actual highlights in it? This Highlights episode is a shame for Eurosport, Cycling and most of all for the Tour of Flanders and the gladiators who rode it today. Maybe next time you can let the intensity of the race be the rule of thumb which sets the length of the highlights of a race. I mean if you have 5.13 minutes of time for this Highlights, why on earth then do you show only 2.53 minutes of the race and fill the rest of it with the results board and an interview with the winner? We're interested (well I am) in the race, not to hear a sweaty guy speak about what he just did because you could've shown that. It's television and video you know, not a podcast.

he was quit impressive, he came back from the 3rd group all by himself, to the group of favorites, and even dictate the front, he was very satisfied about the race, and is honest he said: offcourse i lost much energy to get back, but i dont think that without it I would have won the race, Bettiol was the best rider today.

One of the most boring races i have ever seen! What a shame that first 2 places on a monument of this caliber are picked up by cyclists as Bettiol and that man from quickstep. Any big attacks by big favs in this races like in previous years. They was in same group and were only waiting. Poor cycling. I'd like to see monuments without team radio.. Would be fascinating as well as world championship or olympic games. Not this boring and strategic cycling

Shut up. Nobody had answer for Bettiol's attack which means he was the strongest. Funny how people call it a boring race when their favourite doesn't win.

Shut up Wout Poels. Cant wait to see you get dropped again and again on this years climbs. It is never bad seeing an underdog winning. Great ride for Bettiol!

Although I didn't find it boring I agree with most of your comment. Bettiol was good but should have been shut down. Team radio is a blight and is killing cycling as a spectacle.
