I'd love to see some links to some of these tools, you could make them affiliated and it would help both of us :) about the precautionary kit, do you have one in mind? I'm getting into woodworking as well and I'm super scared of an injury, so having one near by is a must

I’ll keep that in mind re tool links! A quick Amazon etc search for tourniquet will readily turn up results. Always get at least two, and unpack one immediately to regularly practice with - and don’t use that one in an actual emergency! You’ll almost certainly never need it, but if you do you’ll want to already know how to use it.

Love it! (and I thought my basement workspace was small!) Like you, I just got a table saw last week, but haven’t used it yet. 😬

A lifelong cabinet maker I knew lost 3 fingers to his just a few years ago. My respect for this thing - and for my circular saw, in particular - is healthy.@@TiniestWorkshed
