Tour of an INSIDE cabin aboard Royal Caribbean's Explorer of The Seas -CABIN
Музыка
Here's a cabin tour of an INSIDE category cabin aboard Royal Caribbean's Explorer of The Seas. The room features a small refrigerator, hairdryer, ample closet space and shelves. I have another video posted of an inside cabin on this same ship as well as other cabin tours aboard Holland America and Norwegian Cruise Lines to name a few. If you have any questions please feel free to ask and happy cruisin'. Video was taken Oct. 2013 on a cruise from the port in Bayonne, New Jersey to Bermuda. Cabin #4787 which was located in the back of the ship-a very quiet location, but a long walk from the elevators.

Decorations make it easier to find your cabin, great idea.
I've had balcony room too. Honestly you are not in the room long enough to really enjoy the balcony. Next time I may go inside.
thanks for posting this, we are going on this ship next year, will be in an inside cabin on the deck below :)
Great room tour. in 15 days I'll be in a balcony room. I've sailed RCCL 4 times prior and love it. I've done balcony each time.
Have an inside cabin on 7th deck May 2020-nice to see the room-thank you!
Thanks for the advice.
Great room tour! Going on Explorer next January and will be getting an interior stateroom. Looks cozy and well-appointed!

enjoy your vacation! It's a beautiful ship. I have a few other tours of the Explorer too. I 've been on it a few times. They have an adults only pool too if you want some quiet time and the shows are pretty good too.
My daughter and I just got back from a 6 day 5 night day cruise out of Port Canaveral. (two stops, Cozumel & Nassau) We also had an interior stateroom. I found after day 4 that the air exchange in the room was poor and the 'scent' in the bathroom became quite strong (not nice at all). While they really push hand washing (sanitizing) which we did at all times, we BOTH got very ill after eating in the formal dining room (not buffet Windjammer) and ended up not being able to enjoy our last day at the port of Nassau. Although the cruise ended for us 4 days ago, my stomach is still not 100%.
I'm going there in two months!
Whoa, that ship is showing its age. That chair! I just booked an inside cabin on this ship. Now I'm second guessing my decision 😣

Ok maybe I over reacted but, but seriousness, if my chair or couch in my cabin looked that soiled, I'll ask for some extra sheets to put over it so I don't have to touch it. Great video by the way.

I would recommend a cabin with a balcony. This way your assured of fresh air. We found with the interior stateroom, it became a bit much with lack of air flow. Yes people say .'well how much time to you spend in your room' Some spend more than others. Lessen learned for me. I'd rather a room with a view and fresh air than what felt like to me ...a hermetically sealed room.
Which category was this. I like the privacy curtain.
Vessel really needs a renovation. Went on the Explorer in 2006, Caribbean Princess in 2009, and NCL Jewel in 2011 and the latter two had much better cabins and were more recently renovated.

I agree with you there. However NCL is great on their ships, the bigger RCL ships are much more recently done and have better themes than the Explorer, and hopefully the Explorer will be renovated soon. Hope this helps. -Port7876

I hope Explorer and her Voyager-class sisters get what their Norwegian and Princess competitors got. Gotta stay in "ship shape".

Explorer's brand-new "replacement" Quantum of the Seas just made its maiden voyage. I went on Explorer its first year in Bayonne, 2006. Amazing the thing would go over 8 years based out of one port. We shall see where Explorer goes once it's renovated. Meanwhile, the Tri-State metro is probably happy to see a shiny new cruise ship.
Can you fit a large suitcase under the bed of the cabin on Explorer of the Seas?

For our suitcases (which are pretty big), you could fit under a bed. Depending on how big it is as a large suitcase is a factor. I am almost certain that yours would fit underneath the bed. This is just a guess. Hope this helps -Port7876

we fit our luggage under the bed. I don't know that it was LARGE. It was a regular size. If not you could prob fit it in the closet perhaps...

Thanks for the feedback.
Are the showers any bigger in balcony rooms?

No - the only time you get larger bathrooms and showers is when you move to a suite. All the other rooms basically have an identical layout.
How much?
I'm having a better room with a balcony

Jacob Grant -I have a few videos of balcony rooms too. You can't lose with a balcony. We book inside usually but we've gone with balcony rooms as well-you can dry your swim suits out there-bring a bungee cord! enjoy your vacation.
