Tour of a Nomad Living in a Class C RV
Today we meet my friend Joe who is a full-timer who lives in a Winnebago Class C. Joe is younger so he is still working on the road and supports himself by selling insurance.

After years of watching you and your adventures, I have decided to take the leap and start my own #rvlife channel. Thank you so much for inspiring me to start this lifestyle as well as launching my channel! ❤❤❤
I really like how Bob gets into the nitty-gritty of why people have made modifications or built something a certain way. For example, the sliding table in this video. This man had several needs, a finite amount of space and so figured out how to accomplish it. I would never have thought to set up a workspace "wall", install a big comfy jackknife sofa and combine all that with a dining space! Ingenious! I really love the simple yet elegant solution of having a sliding table top to accomplish all these goals! Most definitely will be keeping this winning combo in mind for when I finally get my own camper.

I'm glad Bob made the effort to put the camera under the table and hold it still so we could see how the sliding mechanism works.

I need advice! I'm just starting to look for a home in wheels that is under $30,000. I can do a lot of the work. Is there a good site where I can go to tell what I'm looking for and someone can direct me on what to look for? Thank you!!
“fake stress everyone builds up in the mind” amen!!
I love the way he described his current lifestyle as "relieving the stress, the fake stress that everybody builds up in their mind". It amazes me how much stress we willingly take on to live a lifestyle that was not created by us, but is handed down to us.

It's always exciting to see folks pursuing this lifestyle before retirement and still working
Debra here. Robert has told me how much he enjoyed meeting you and River, and he is still envious of your workspace. Especially now that we are traveling together, he mentions all the time he'd like to have a rig like Joe's. I look forward to meeting you and camping with you one day. Thanks Joe and Bob!

Yup, we are out here, no doubt. We love love love watching Bob and people he interviews. He has a really great set up. Nice fella.
Nice rig Joe, love your couch,,, thanks for sharing Bob 😊
I like Winnebago too. They still make all their own parts and you can still get parts for them. Oh, Joe, I am right now, as I type, strongly reminded how important insurance is!! Neighbors two doors down from me were just killed in house fire. I'm in woods, so it's .3 of a mile. House and two lives just now lost. Very sad for me now...

I really love how he has modernized his space by doing away with the patterns that come stock w the spaces. Great outfit! Good job!
One of the most helpful videos I've seen here yet! Thanks, Joe! Going to your channel now.
Great interview Bob. I love the sliding table idea. I will definitely copy that. Thanks
That table adaptation is genius. Thanks guys for this tour.
Just bought a Wave 8, because of these guys reviews.
Bob, been watching your vids for about nine months now. Became interested in the tiny homes several years ago, and your videos presented me with a whole new idea for living! The vids about the solo women really did it for me! I love them! The vans and the women! Thoroughly enjoy your information packed channel and find you a very charming host! Thanks a million!
Very nice setup. Thanks so much to both of you for sharing your home and for the great review!!
Found Joe's site last month. Enjoy seeing the sights. Thanks to both of you for sharing. 😇🙇✌
OH MY!! I was not expecting such decor on the inside!! GORGEOUS!!
Thanks so much Joe and Bob! Another great video! 😊
Bob, thank you for sharing this really nice guy, And his Rig. Nice he could start his journey early, if only I knew earlier in life. But I have a plan to be out there one day🙃. Hugs and Safe Travels Bob.
Always glad to see your videos, Bob.
Another great video. Thanks for sharing Joe's story
I agree with Joe . I just bought 1991 Winnebago class c had some repairs needs more. Glad to be done with the house yard malarkey . Not stuck in one place , kids grandkids grown moved away . Maybe I’ll meet Bob sometime.. single and 60 alone . Joes custom work is amazing! Wow.. lots of ideas
I'd love to see updates on the older videos

great idea with the sliding table
Great video again bob keep them coming 👌 nice rv
Hi Joe and Bob. Bob thanks for sharing your lifeand Class C . And also will check out your ch;annel on KZread. Bob another great interview. Happy Safe Trails to you both. Jp
I subscribed to his channel, Good work Bob
Nice table
That sliding table is ingenious.
i think the biggest part for me of getting my own RV (hopefully a bus made into RV) is having my own toilet and shower. with so many hotels an such having bed bugs..it's AWESOME to have YOUR bed & YOUR toilet with you. :D it's a quirk of mine. that is a REALLY nice RV!!
Really nice rig! Great creative work on the interior organization. Retired from working in the property casualty commercial insurance industry for 43 1/2 years, (semi-retired now) I can see how you could be mobile as agent. Best wishes to you, Joe! Thanks for sharing, Bob.
I just found your KZread channel and I really enjoy your videos.
Great job
Awesome video thanks ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Poor Bob Lol! It always seems like he's pulling teeth to get these people to talk freely and interchange conversation Lol! I'm sure they are not nervous since most of them have channels themselves. But thank you for sharing your journey with us 😉 you have some nice updates 😊

Yeah, I've noticed that, too! Bob certainly does the best he can, but I guess not everyone he interviews is a good conversationalist or has the gift of gab. I *_am_* a little surprised, though, that a person who makes his living as a _salesman_ would be so reticent.

Captain Quirk I just don't get it? It was actually awkward to watch. He seemed almost annoyed that the interview was even taking place Lol! It just was a strange one to watch for sure. If I was Bob....I wouldn't have even aired it. It makes Bob also look awkward that he couldn't pull a smile or a conversation out of this guy. Lol!!! Smh! Lol!

Britt H Well that's nice. Your entitled to an opinion but if yours made sense then it would be welcomed. We complimented Bob on his wonderful job as always and said it's a shame sometime that it feels like he's doing the interview alone. Now, if there wasn't 13 other ppl agreeing with me than you may have a valid point. I never ever would say anything mean or but into any9nes conversation with rudeness but if that's how you behave than more power to ya 😘

❤️🚚I tell ya, this way of life is really s’thing to think about. I think it is FANTASTIC!!⭐️⭐️Just gotta find best ways to shower daily. I’d have to shower daily!! LUV these videos
Very nice !
Nice work, I'm leaning towards a Class C myself.
Lovely place! I would like an RV or trailer. I like a few comforts & am in constant pain, so a comfortable chair is essential. I'd get rid of those nasty tables & probably have a folding table, instead. Then, fold it up & put it away! Meanwhile, I'm looking forward to camping, this Summer, with Hubster & our 3 dogs. The bed & toilet things are taken care of (planned) & I'm so ready! We're currently working on 6" of snow - much more nearer the mtns. Winter has been very late, this year. I'm hoping it dumps up high, but isn't impossible for the deer, Mtn goats & Sheep, etc. Last year wiped out much of the small animal population ...

Great ideas
Great video
Really enjoyed the video. This guy is great! I even stayed up later than I should have to watch this one. I want to know more about the bungee cords hanging from the cabinet handles. Are they functional to keep the doors from coming open at the wrong time? Just easy grab handles? Both? I like the idea. There has to be a story behind those bungee cords.... I also like the bit about how most people--even coworkers--don't realize that he isn't sitting in a cubicle all day. It reminds me of the movie Outsourced. In the movie, a guy talks about how a guy in LA outsourced his own job and now has more time and money than he knows what to do with. But just the same, he's thinking of getting another job and outsourcing it too. Wish I had been that innovative years ago. But I was just another sheep following the herd...
Bob interview people much better than alot I see on tv ..!!
your the best bob!
I love your videos. I had a nurse of 25 years tell me once ( If I just listen a brand new nurse can teach me something new) Even though you have been living this life for years you interview people who are newbies. I really like that. I am 49. Not quite ready to hit the road. But when I do i will be well informed because of all you guys sharing your videos. The good the bad and the ugly. I am sure I have just over looked it.. But do you have a opinion on the signal boosters and which you feel is a good choice?? Also while doing a Google search for ideas to have extra water while boondocking I came across a water bladder. I was wondering if you knew about the quality of those? I had a flash back of my teenage years and my friends waterbed springing a leak. 😅. Thank you for all your videos and the time you invest in each one. Safe travels !!
Beautiful home! (just needs a good cleaning!!) lol Love your shows!!!
Nice job norma
Nice home . ☮️
I learned abt a new way to use a table....I will not forget this one. It slides freely, but how does he lock it down to keep it from moving from the spot he wants. A hook?
Joe, nice place
Love it, Joe. Smart changes.
Does anyone know what are the best vehicle insurance companies for nomads?
Already a sub of Joes! 👍
For a quick second I thought you were interviewing Artie Lange 😎
I never won a bago. How do I win one?
What does class C mean? Wow LOVE the kitchen! Really beaut RV!!
Love you Bob
bob I hear to talk about the lucy light . I was wondering if you have tested and of the other brands within the same price range I wanted to use some in my home to save money . I cannot travel but I love your videos .
Clever table ^5
Have you ever done a review of someone in a Pop Up Trailer? I searched but the only one I saw was the one of a pop up pickup bed slide in. I am specifically wondering about how to better utilize the 2nd bed they all seem to come with that my wife and I do not need.
Hey Bob when you spoke in the wrap up video of the RTR you mentioned there was a women's gathering happening after RTR can you tell me the name of that and how to find out more info about that please?
What I would like to know on the self-contained RVs (A, B, C) is how many miles are on the rigs' engines. Like Joe's 1996 here. Also, if the original engine is still in the vehicle. Looking at used RVs myself, this would be a good comparing factor.
Joe does wonderful photography. Check out his channel. I'm a fan!
Two questions: Is there any storage on the outside of rig? And, is the area over cab large enough to sleep? This is exactly what I'd want (or Jayco). Am still very apprehensive due to all the unknowns but, I at least put my place up for sale so that's the first step. Will sub to Joe's channel. And thanks Bob. Without your kindness and community, none of this would be possible for many of us! Especially single women. Hugs~
Is it true you can cook on top of your motor of your vehicle while you're driving down the road. Is the heat from the motor sufficient to cook a roast?
Nice RV for older, all it needs is 🌺 flowers 💐 🌸 lol
Love this & your channel Bob. Brilliant, Thank you. My fiancee' & I hope to live in our dodge ram van. We want the nomadic life style & our family think we are crazy, we are in our late 50's.! We say it is perfect timing.!! We want the peace & the freedom & love nature & fishing, we also intend to work from home.!! in our van.!!. We have watched quite a few of your videos & love them all, Please keep them coming. Many Thanks.

Nice....just too many mirrors! LOL
whats the best for someone on fixed income with no credit a van, an rv or something else?
i think this lifestyle would be great for me.
Is that Olympian catalytic heater run on propane, and is it really safe indoors ? What about CO poisoning ?
Hey Bob...I noticed a brown spot on the side of your face just below your eyeglass arm. It looks new. Have you had it checked out? Maybe it’s always been there...?
My wife and i are starting in a month. We want to go to leadville and boondock. How can we find out if our 27 ft rv will make it there and where we can go?
@CheapRVliving
6 жыл бұрын
There are MANY places it can go, and a few places it can’t. The deeper back you go in the Forest or BLM land, the fewer places you can go. But, there are always plenty you can.
far better r v than I have
A friend of mine has one just like it. He doesn't use it anymore. I asked to buy it, but it doesn't run...

Great tour, the only thing I’d do a little differently is maybe not show footage of his handgun under his table.
