I like this set-up. The cage is ideal and the fact that you recognized that a 35" tire needs a gearing change is bang-on! The bin idea is great, and you're right, drawers and sliders take up valuable space.

Even with the coach, I’m envious of the freedom Overlanding provides. Thought this setup was nearly perfect. I get by without the gearing change thanks to less weight for my day trips. Even with that, I’ve considered the update and will certainly do it when times comes for 37’s.

If I didn’t have the coach, would definitely consider doing this with my 2Dr. Manufacturer of this rack was bought out, but it’s still available from new company.

Love my 2Dr! kzread.info/dash/bejne/d4hoqqqRaNm2YLg.html is perfect example of it going places that would be difficult, if not impossible for a 4Dr.

Awesome video, I had doubts about 2dr with tent and this video proves it's ideal and more options for manual transmission in 2dr.. what a fantastic setup

I have a two door jk with tepi rooftop tent and kitchen inside in the back, awning on the back as well with solar water tank on one side. I have go zero batterie setup that runs the refrigerator and other accessories . I made a kitchen chuck box , every one that has seen my setup has been empressed

Construction, fit and finish is darn near perfect if one is looking for a compact totally functional setup for a 2Dr. Especially like their windshield crossover-step. IF I was looking for an overlanding setup to replace my bus, this would be a great starting point. Not cheap, but is anything these days?

It should, but best to ask one of the cage manufacturers. I don’t recall there being any contact between the cage and top.

Whenever you see a cool 2 door roof rack they dont make em anymore
