Every bird hatched is sold at this hatchery....(Hint: Don't get your information about farming from agenda based documentaries)" So if every bird hatched is sold.... I just received my chicks from them yesterday. I was SHOCKED to learn how they stand behind their birds! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Will never buy from anyone else

I ended up ordering from Meyer in the fall partially based on this video. The Meal Maker was a big part of that decision. First time owning chickens much less getting them in the mail. Got 8 beautiful birds of 7 different breeds and they are all happy and healthy and just about ready to start laying. Meal Maker turned out to be a beautiful Barred Rock who is my top hen and loved sit on my shoulder when she was younger.

Not only a kind person.... a strong professional I've never seen a woman pull off a usmc style flat top so well I would be proud to have her as my mother

Meyer Hatchery is one of my favorites to get chicks from. I like their Fry Pan Bargain - cant beat a $1/roo!

I love this! We just ordered about 40 chicks from Meyer and now we know that they are coming from a lovely place! We also got a meal maker chick so we are so excited to donated some eggs. Thanks for the video!

I've seen many Hatchery tours but Josh this was the best made I've seen so far. You covered a lot of territory in such a short time. We love Karen and all that she represents. We love chickens.

I'm an electrician and had to the opportunity to work at a dog food facility recently. I was amazed how they had a boot sanitizer similar to this but never have I seen anything like it at a hospital. Lol it's funny that you said the same thing.

This is so interesting to watch. I work at a farm store that gets chicks every week and this gives me a different perspective on how and where our chicks come from knowing they're cared for from the beginning!

I have had 2 orders from Meyer Hatchery. They have GREAT customer service and good quality birds.

They are really amazing. They 're experienced in poultry farming.

Website is very easy to navigate and helpful. Owner seems extremely knowledgeable. I get my order tomorrow, Hopefully no dead ones. been 3 days

@@ernesta5459 they did all arrive alive but after 2 days one of the ducks was sickly and died. 16/17 survived, pretty good they're starting to lay now.

Ha! I recognized Karen from the catalog. Really interesting to see how they manage to keep the operation running behind the scenes. Next time you have to ask her how she started that business and how they select the breeders. I already liked Meyers. Now I like them more.

We order or first round of chickens from Meyer it was a super fun day. We chose to pick ours up and visit the store. Such a happy little place to be in.
