Final day of the Tour des Alpes Vaudoises, heading from Gryon back down to Aigle to complete the 130km circuit.
This stage is much lower and less mountainous, and takes in beautiful villages and vineyards before an approach to Aigle through it's old town and stunning castle area.
Finally we head back to Geneva on the IR90 train from Aigle and on to the airport.
The Tour des Alpes Vaudoises is an almost unknown long distance route and we didn't meet a single other person doing the journey whilst we were there. It is highly recommended and can be completed either camping or using the plentiful accomodation.
