TOUR DE GNAR 2023 - FULL FILM
Hello, everyone, and welcome to the 3rd edition of the Tour de Gnar!
Tour de Gnar is a groupment of riders from around the world, both women and men, taking on the gnarliest features of Sea to Sky, BC, Canada, all in a single day.
This 15-hour beast of a journey began at 6 a.m. in Squamish, with the plan to conquer 15 features all the way to Rutherford in Pemberton.
For this year's edition, we had 30 riders, compared to 10 last year and only 2 the year before. More riders means less time for each rider to analyze and safely navigate the features, as for most, it was their first time tackling them all.
Two days of rain leading up to the tour made the terrain extremely slippery, adding an extra element of gnarliness! As you can imagine, this year was a bit of a rodeo, so fasten your seat belts, everyone, and enjoy the show.

Mr. Barelli, you've just dicovered an amazing personal format. It makes the features so more real. High level photography and editing. You must've draft your crew from The Canadian Film School. A very refreshing alternative. Pushing the level of freeride up even more.

Been dealing with a similar injury to Avens for the last three years. Broke my neck racing at the age of 21. Hang in there brother things will get better
This is one of the best mountain biking videos I've watched. A ton of talented riders and some insane features. Super cool!

I just love this Yoann been just got back from Squamish and wow what an experience i must say. I do think there is too many people now the smaller amout of people the better i think
Love this so much, every year it gets better, can´t wait to go and ride with you guys. Can´t help but feel sorry for those who crashed (I would probably be in that list) it´s hard to say no when you´re already there, but calling the shots like Remy is best, don´t hit something if you are not 100%, especially such gnarly stuff, and well, sometimes we take risks anyway and win, sometimes lose, but as long as we can get back on the bike it´s all good.
I didn't see it yet, but I already know it is gonna be awesome.

I would never ride these features, I'm too old/scared/etc, and it's hard to see injuries, but it is so awesome to see this level of talent and the mountain biking community on full display.
This has to be the most exciting week by far in 2023 wheb it comes to Freeride MTB content. We get to start the week off with this now legendary event put on by riders followed by Rampage 2023 this Friday!

Crazy how this is quickly turning into a global event! Though i love the DiY feel of this it wouldn't surprise if this event starts picking up sponsors with how quickly its gaining ground.

It is funny to watch this on a video screen. Anyone who has ridden any of these trails/features, knows just how "undemanding", "gentle-sloping" and "doable" the camera makes these appear! It is an illusion! Every single one of these features would make most expert mountain bikers gulp, and their heart rate accelerate - just looking over the edge. These riders make these insanely difficult, demanding and frightening features look do-able to easy... don't be fooled! This is PRO-LINE+ stuff! Fantastic to watch!
