Tour and Explore Stow-on-the-Wold, Cotswolds, Gloucestershire (2020)
Stow-on-the-Wold in the Cotswolds is a delightful market town in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It lies alongside the Romantic Road, one of the loveliest driving routes through the Gloucestershire countryside.
The name Stow, in Old English, means meeting place and Wold means high ground. In fact Stow-on-the-Wold is the highest town in the Cotswolds at 800’ above sea level.
Although it is a medieval market town where the two and three storey houses and shops of mellow, honey coloured stone have been built around a large square, it is a lively and welcoming place that provides great shopping and excellent local food and drink.

Nice video lm enjoying learning about t'he history of stowe and other parts of t'he cotswalds
My wife and I will be spending time in the Cotswold in Sept/Oct 2022. I really enjoy your videos. I had been watching the “Cotswold Explorer” but came away frustrated as he gives minimal information about the various towns he visits. Looking forward to seeing your video about Broadway. Thanks for your efforts and enjoyable prospective on these towns.
