Tough Street Bash RC Car! Arrma Infraction 4x4 Mega Review | RC Driver
ARRMA is hard at work making sure everyone’s basher RC Car needs are met. Their latest releases are really stepping up the fun factor possibilities for those looking to hit more road-like terrain. Those releases are the ARRMA Infraction 4x4 Mega and the Vendetta 4x4 BLX. These ⅛-scale Street Basher and Street Speed machines have fun-seekers talking and we were lucky enough to nab both for review. This video however is just going to focus on the Infraction 4x4 Mega. This exciting looking electric RC truck has lots of new features bolted to a familiar chassis. Greg will go over all the details of what’s new. Then he takes it out for a serious Street Bash RC Car test. Not only will he hit a parking lot for some speed passes, but he thrashes it in a dirt lot AND goes wild in a skate park too! Not a lot of skate parks near me, but man this video just sold me on the truck! Love the look of it and can’t beat the price/fun factor!
Certainly gave the roof skids a work out. LOL. Looks like that skate park was perfect for the truck. I like scale looking bashers. Would be cool to see one with the Felony body in that scale. Brushless would be next level but doesn't look like a necessity. Thanks for the video.

Thanks! I just picked up an Epidemic Sound account so there's lots of new music to search through. I have been using free KZread music up until this point. This video was so much fun to make and it helps when the product is an absolute blast!

I really like it. Not sure about the skatpart bashing but some trail blasting for sure. Arrma and doing some great work.
Last year, $319 was the price of the 3s brushless Big Rock, and the Mega line vehicles were around $260. This feels like a big step backwards, value-wise.

Prices are up on everything. I paid $9 per 2x4 this year when finishing my basement. Just a few years ago when I finished my basement in my old house I paid $1.06 per board.

This looks really cool! But I think if I wanted an on/off road chassis I'd get the LC Racing rally car from your previous video.
Just ordered this exact one, from Tower Hobbies, Scratch and Dent sale, for only $170. This will be my first on road RC and I'm excited! It's pretty awesome, how it already has the .8 mod gearing, so that will save some money, when I wanna go brushless.

My boy will be stoked with this for Christmas! I pre ordered the same colour that you have here, it does seem a little slow in comparison with brushless/lipo, but pretty sure it'll be plenty fast enough for our local areas

Yup, big lots you may get a little bored with it. But for smaller spaces, it was actually well powered and fun!

ii totally agree with you plus after i buy this and save my money back up then i can put a decent brushless system if i want and end up with an infraction without having to drop 700 in the beginning. great idea for us regular people without big budgets,

@@Timsfpvshow true, or the size too. The Felony/Limitless/Infraction are HEAVY... something a lot of people don't consider, but mine has to weight over 25lbs... you run into an ankle or god forbid hit someone with it and its gnarly

Vendetta is out now on preorder but the brushed infraction is released in January.. 👍👍😎

The suspension definitely looks beefy. It will be interesting to see how well sealed the drive train is after being ran through dirt.

The old granite brushed we had over heated very easily on lipo batteries. Otherwise a great truck. Does anyone know if this thing handles a 2s battery on a decent run time?

I know this has nothing to do with this video but I'm really hoping you can answer my question. I posted this on another video of yours from September with the Typhon TLR but I'm just wondering if when you replaced your TLR hinge pins with RC8 hinge pins if you had to modify them in anyway or if they fit well enough out the bag? Sorry if this is stupid but I'm only 20 days old into the hobby and could really use an answer to this question. Thank you RCDRIVER and awesome content!

I didn't get an infraction, because I supected that this thing was only for use on road... Got an Senton instead. Man, was I wrong about the Infraction! Would love to see how far off-road you could go with this thing.

I have always wanted an infraction.. but I can't justify $1300aud for an on-street basher. I'm so happy they came out with a mega version for so much cheaper! I will wait to see if they come out with some newer versions before I buy

@@fbiagent3399 That's what I did for a Granite MEGA, about a month ago. Onyx 3000kv 70amp brushless system. The slipper doesn't like the extra power and slips too much even at the tightest setting. Gotta get the 3s slipper, for sure.

Late to this Party & eeying this showy but slow Truck. @ double the speed & the Vendettas have been bullet proof which would make this brushed version last a long long time.
I think it's a great speed
Brushless system needed pronto. I feel 4s in it's future.

If it has the front differential it’s still 4x4 it just doesn’t have the front wheels spinning

I use 3s on mine it even indicates 3 beeps....
That's actually not the clutch that's used in the BLX. That's the clutch that's used in the current megas. Unfortunately they also used that mega clutch on the vendetta.

The Street infraction is a 6S brushless truck in a larger scale. This one is 2S capable with a brushed motor. Not the same truck at all.

Agreed. I read the fine print under the 30mph logo on the box after the video. It says under optimum conditions. Which means do some tricks lol!
