+drew leonard I agree that the drugs were fine, but there are many things worse than Americans who can speak German. Its actually a pretty hard language to learn and as far as second languages go I think it's quite impressive and respectable. I wish Tough Crowd had remained on the air for longer though. We could have had hours more of Patrice and Greg if it had lasted just a few more years. Im glad Patrice did loads of O&A. Personally the only comedy central show i'm willing to watch is South Park as it was already on air before Tough Crowd, although even there the censorship is difficult to watch. Since the network execs cancelled this show i'm waging a solitary lifelong boycott of that network.

This is really fucking sad to watch. Nick calling Patrice's death and Patrice being really emotionally genuine and letting Colin know how important the show was to him. And that ending with the crowd walking out while Colin rants. Jesus I really almost got teary eyed.

I have not lived in America but I think Patrice was very appreciated when alive and already a legend but stayed out of bright lights, that's why it may seem he was underappreciated. Because he liked to do things his way or no way, he wouldn't be promoted as much by the "big corporate guys" that bring people to the bigger audience with a force.

Whoa no no no. That's not what Patrice was talking about at all. The whole point of Spade's show was that they avoided politics because that's all everybody else in comedy seems to talk about these days. I'd argue guys like Kimmel, Colbert, Meyers, etc. are more in line with the "goofy nonsense" by pretending to be edgy, while doing the safest thing in the world of comedy in 2020: bashing Trump.

Watching shows like this and listening to these comics on O&A helped me to drop a lot of my brainwashed phoniness and it's all gone now. I never watched this show back when it was on because I was too young and I was not interested in the topics of the show and I didn't know anyone on the show.And its only in the last 2 months or so I stumbled onto some of Greg Giraldo, Patrice O'neal and Nick Dipaolo's work in roasts and stand up and am really getting into it.This final episode made me smile and almost shed a tear, Nick predicting the death of Patrice, Patrice having his moment saying "im gonna miss this", True genius is never appreciated while your still alive, and The empty room as Colin said his final words. The thing about shows like friends is its all fake, but this was real.

Even at the time it felt like some underground thing that somehow got into a great time slot,the only good thing is I knew it wouldn't stay on long so there wasn't much disappointment but it still sucked to see it go. I don't think KZread existed yet or it had just started

I love how all these comedians are from different ethnicities, have different political views, and some of them barely even agree with each other at all, but they're having so much fun roasting on each other, and bonding over humor. Nowadays, the second someone brings up politics, everyone just goes crazy and tries to punch each other in the face. In today's politically correct era, a show like this is just unheard now, sadly. Comedy Central was gold back then, and now it just has a bunch of bullshit shows with Amy Schumer!

Now he’s just another one of them :/ And yeah I understand that his role and his writers put him into a certain position, but it’s heartbreaking to know that there is wasted talent there.

Man, it's really hard to watch a couple of guys renowned for not taking themselves seriously (Colin and Patrice) on the verge of tears during act 4. That being said, I don't think Tough Crowd would survive nowadays, though a show of that type is needed now more than ever. It was too honest, too raw. Some of the jokes they made about race would get them banned from tv immediately.

Watching old Tough Crowd clips really makes me miss Greg Giraldo again. He was the best guest on the show. So many comedians on this show either try to just show up and give opinions or force in bits from their acts. Giraldo was intelligent and knowledgeable about the topics so he always had an interesting take, plus he put in the work to write original jokes for the show.

It gladdens my heart every time little Jimmy laughs. It's a ray of sunshine for the ears.

How the FUCK did "Blue Collar Comedy Tour" replace this? This was awesome. BCCT sucked balls.

Colin's last opening monologue, and also his greatest.

Powerful speech by Colin to start the show. I used to watch every episode intently. This is missed so much in society now.

RIP Greg and Patrice. Greg was grossly underrated. His roasts were undeniably memorable.

Watching this today is like watching something from another universe. this is exactly what we needed. So sad this shows not on, and so sad we're missing Patrice and Greg

I consider it a major life accomplishment that I watched these nightly, as they came out. There will never be anything else like it, for comedy fans it was our Summer of Love. Who knew that the early 2000s was such a golden age..

Damn this is sad... I still love these comedians!

This is probably the most honest ending to a show I’ve ever seen. Most watch a show like “Friends” and believe the actors are really that close, in this situation they really were. Collin assembled a group of the most honest and funniest comedians he knew. You can tell that Patrice gets emotional because he is the only one that truly knows this will never happen again.

After the laughs always come the tears. *RIP gentlemen.*

Watching this makes me think of watching Comedy Central during the summer between school years. For some reason this show and the Conan replays they played stick out to me.

When Patrice said he was having a moment... 😢 it's truly bittersweet to watch these old Tough Crowd episodes and O & A shows, especially with O'Neal and Giraldo being gone...

What a great show...how lucky to be able to work with a group of buddies. So much talent on that stage.

I miss Gregg, and Patrice.

I loved this show. I hadn't seen the show since this very episode aired. I'm a huge fan of Patrice and Greg. Some of the comments made me genuinely sad that these tremendously funny bastards are gone. Thanks for posting. I'm going to watch them all, all over again, now.

Patrice at 17:35 made me tear up a bit. He was honest and brilliant like I’ve never heard before.

It was pretty crazy how prophetic Nick dips predictions were about Patrice O'Neal, good comedy is always rooted in truth, and near tragedy

It sucks this show isn't on anymore and that half of the guys are gone. RIP

This show was brilliant and brought a lot of stand ups into the mainstream.

This is last episode was symbolic of the beginning of ultra PC entertainment. It's like true edgy humor on TV was saying goodbye

Growing up as a child I always saw this show as an adult show. South park and things of that nature i got right away but the truth in this show is really an adult thing. I just clicked this thinking i was starting the journey into tough crowd and it ended up being the last episode. Kind of eerie how he talks about friends in the end and how it had meaning to him even though he just watched the last episode, and here i was, doing the same thing with his show. Also most awkward thing watching comedy central air his speech and put him up in the corner to make way for the next show while he is talking about why it sucks.

This has to be the best episode of tough crowd though...... the crew, the laughs, the hurt. Big up Colin, Jimmy, and Nick D.& Rest In Paradise Patrice and Greg. We will never see these misfits do something as great as this again.

Either The Deer Hunter, Apocalypse Now, Full Metal Jacket, Casualties of War, Platoon, or one of the hundreds of other Vietnam movies from the '80s.

Crazy to see them talking about untimely death and it actually happened to two of the best. So sad. Wish these guys were still around.

All these guys are legends, if for no other reason, but of course many, this show.

This was my favorite show back then. It was during the years when stand-up was recovering from the late 80s and early 90s, when an army of hacks were churning out routines from a factory. Stand-up is so fucking strong right now.

True fans will always miss Patrice and Geraldo, but we need this show back in 2020, I haven't laughed so hard at TV in almost 10 years, these presidential debates would have been perfect material for the show...

Greg Giraldo would talk about a lot of self doubt and social anxiety, his reaction at 09:25 was very uncomfortable and you could tell he was nervous about getting up and hosting for a minute.

luke c I think he just took it as a moment to show respect to Colin. Kind of like, “this is your last moments to shine on your show, you belong up there for every minute of it”. That’s how I took it.

This show was cutting edge to the max you guys can bet that all the greats would tipped their hats to you all .

This is the greatest show I never heard of.
