I landed twice at Lukla. For people that love planes and aviation, it doesn't get any better or more exciting than this. The pilots that can land here are experts, the best in their job possible. Respect!

@@Boss_Tanaka Though shutter speed is a possibility, it looks like a weak power supply since it is a light flash at times. This one is acting just like that where it's intermittent and weak at times.

I'm assuming you meant "front" but if you wear headphones you can hear the main landing gear touchdown about a ½ a second before the front.

The fact that I discovered this one by looking for completely random airports in msfs is so funny

i would say saba is more dangerous but that is some legendary flying, well done

What Glideslope? There is none. The Glide Path Angle is published as zero degrees. This was an excellent landing for Lukla.

The runway is going upwards, thats why it looks like a steep approach, when in fact its not steep at all

@LoneStarHog It is most probably due to the lack of published glide path, thus the system shows it as zero. The official source never has a glide path published. And, a zero degree glide path is far from normal, even considering the runway upslope.

from the very light and plastic feeling sound this toy produced i am pretty sure this was shot in a studio. When the real plane touches down, the gear will be followed by a gust of smoke and the sound it make is incredibly heavy

there was a camera and microphone outside in the wind which is why it sounds like that. there is smoke that you can see and there wasnt much due to the aircraft and the make of the gear.
