Hey man, I’m a sub, I mostly use your channel for news on the child’s play reboot

Some have complained about the TOTS but watching this video I see very minor differences. The biggest thing is the absence of the voice box with the TOTS brand. I know Garrett and he's a cool guy but in my honest opinion while the independent version is obviously and in majority of the cases always better I don't feel the minor differences constitute paying 4X as much for the doll. Now if it had a metallic skeletal animatronic body then sure $2000 at a minimum all day. But for things like a better hair cut and thicker nicer clothes being the main differences I'm not seeing it.

I complete agree. Also, most people spend 50 bucks to cut in the voice box on the ToT doll. 1500$ for that feature is laughable at best.

You cant buy this dolls at a local store or a local spencers nobody seems to be selling these replica dolls so there all rare regardless if you find someone that is selling one most of the time its the same one tots is selling only difference is people are asking 2-3 grand for it

The hand made one has it too but its done a bit lower and more clean so it doesn't pop out at you and look like it was just cut off etc.

I honestly prefer the trick or treat studios one. I know it’s not a popular opinion, but I think the face looks better. I also subbed. It’s something I’ve wanted since it was very first announced, but i’m as broke as my right arm.

@@PBKreviews Great video! While it's true that both dolls have their pros/cons, it was sad to listen to how biased you were in pointing how the TOTS dolls are inferior to the GZ version. So many fans were able to get their own replica for the first time since wanting one from childhood, and TOTS with Garrett Zima in a collaboration made it possible. I can afford both, but hearing from you negatively nick-pick the TOTS doll while thousands of fans can't even provide the funds to get neither one, is giving them the impression that a $500 Chucky doll won't bring joy. That said, your video is still top-notch.

@@flixy9376 Hi, I was just giving my opinion on it and which I personally would prefer and the things that stood out to me the most etc. I did mention in the video that both are great and if you can afford to pay more why not get one hand made with minor details here and there you can make adjustments on. Also I did point out cons I didn't like about the hand made one as well like the neck not turning, the foam body with loose joints etc. But ya I did lean toward the Garrett Zima one more. However I don't mean to talk down on the TOTS one either, it def is an amazing doll especially for the price, you just cant beat the work that went into it.

Keep researching all over online, I bought Chuckie & his bride Tiffany for $100 for both... I moved so never did anything with them. They both need washed alittle, faces & hands & their hair needs washed & fixed. Overall they are in very good condition & I am pleased bcuz of their price for both... I bought them to set out at Halloween if I ever do bcuz I seriously do not like Halloween now, its just an evil day... I dont think I will set them out 100% in my house bcuz they scare me...lol So realistic looking 😳😬😯

Honestly both look amazing in my opinion, thought I have to agree with you when comparing the quality of the clothing. But I guess that’s just a minor difference that has to be done for the mass produced one. It’s either quality over quantity or quantity over quality, that aside I do think the TOTS one is great for its price. Definitely one of the most screen accurate Chucky dolls I’ve seen in that price range. I hope to own a Chucky doll one day.

They’re honestly both amazing in their own ways! I can’t decide on which head I prefer but I like the Garrett Zima outfit more! Man this is the worst time to be unemployed or else I would’ve been all over the TOTS one 💀😂 this video is great, thanks for going super into detail & taking your time with the video. Thank you for giving us a chance to win one! It’s very generous 🤗

Garrett Zima definitely did an amazing job with the extra details on the long sleeve and overalls, and man that voice box! I wish TOTS capitalized on giving the Chucky doll the catchy liners we've all grown to love and appreciate.

I always had this curiosity about the anatomy of the doll because Chucky is always floppy when people move him in the film but in child’s play 2, the factory shows entirely plastic dolls🤔 I love the hair on the custom doll .

I remember being so scared of Chucky and the Child’s Play series as a kid. I would cry just by the sound of his name or his maniacal laugh, and now I’m 21 years old and OBSESSED with him. He’s become my favorite horror franchise and having this doll would mean the world plus scare the crap out of my roommates haha

I don’t know if it’s just me but the custom made one looks closer to the original movie version while ToTS looks more like the Child’s Play 2 Good Guy doll design. I like them both equally.

I'm not sure if this is a kid or not but I can tell you there's always a way. If you get an allowance or are old enough to at least get a part time job save your money and you could have one. When I was a kid I desperately wanted a Super Nintendo when they were first released. At the time they went for $200 so what I did was save my allowance and a little of my lunch money so by Christmas time I was able to get one.

Love the video mate. I've wanted a Good Guy doll for a long 25 years and cannot believe they're finally getting mass produced at an affordable cost. In saying that, with a young family of 4 now the timing could not be worst and I can't afford the almost $1000 AU after shipping for the childhood dream I've held onto. I wish tots had the animatronic eyes that's what makes it look distinguished with Zimas custom build rather than being disappointed at minor details on the clothes.

The custom ones body should be made with a hard plastic torso with a double deep battery compartment, so when you pop open the cover you won't see the batteries. The real compartment would be found underneath that compartment instead. Would be a great way to scare people.

I like the TOTS body better, but the head is definitely better on G.Zima one - it's more accurate. The TOTS one's eyes are a bit too small, and the haircut is uneven and too short, the hairline is too low. But for $500 it's the best you could get, I guess.

@PB< What's your opinion on the foam of the TOTS doll? I saw another review where the guy said he was afraid the foam wouldn't last or might deteriorate over time. You think that could happen? Or do you think these dolls should last a long while? I'm not too sure how well the foam holds up over time. I hope it doesn't rot or anything!

I think it will last for a long time. It is more firm on the TOTS one so some things like having him sit up straight on his own is more difficult compared to the hand made one but other poses it holds better than the hand made one. I think it should last a good long time, I don't see it going bad anytime soon unless its sitting under the sun all day or under heavy duress etc.

zimas look better even tho the hair always looks bad on his, but $2000 for that ,no thanks lol

Hello, have a question. Is it possible that if you order a doll from garret can he make it animatronic so it’s mouth can move too along with the words from the voice box?

Some kids have said they've been waiting to get their hands on one of these but I've been wanting a Chucky doll like this since I was a kid when the Child's Play movie was released lol.

How do you go about getting the other one you have. I just wish they weren’t foam wish they were full rubber like the films well the factory in the second
