Steve Perry was the lead singer of the band Journey. You should check out his work with Journey, I’d suggest Mother, Father, and Faithfully. There are many others, but that’s a good starting place

Steve Perry is known as "the voice". For very good reason. Oh Sherrie is good. My favorite is with the band Journey . Love the song "Still They Ride".

Written by Steve Perry and Randy Goodrum. The most popular sing RG wrote is You Needed Me sung by Anne Murray 45 years ago. 🎂 In 1984, RG thought he was going to write ✍ with a member of Aerosmith. But his daughter knew that Joe Perry is not Steve Perry. Thus, she got her poster of Journey and pointed to Steve Perry. L🤣L Source: YT video on making Foolish Heart. Also in 1984, RG wrote Who's Holding Donna Now for Debarge. When the 2 men met, SP wanted to write ✍ on the next day. But RG said no: that is not how a Nashville writer works! 🤯 That week, they wrote Oh Sherrie and Foolish Heart . Suggested videos 📹 1 Anne Murray sings You Needed Me. 2 Debarge sings Who's Holding Donna Now. 3 Steve Perry and David Foster perform I Stand Alone.

Yes Mother Father live in Houston the vocal acrobatics are incredible

Amazing. Check out the music of Steve's idol and greatest singing influence, Sam Cooke. His crooning to soaring vocal style owes a lot to Sam. His songs Cupid and You Send Me are good examples.
