This is my first Total War game and I feel kinda annoyed that there is so much info the game isn't giving me to make good decisions. Feels kinda like a cheap way to increase difficulty.

taking time to Help the dwarf's with killing orc or empire successionist is always a good move. You can get an early alliance with the and it sures up one of your boarders

Yes! I’ve found that mistake made early in the empire campaign can set you back 4 or 5 turns each you make too many and by turn 30 you’ll still be struggling to keep the skullsmasherz and the vampires off your ass.

Would you be feeling to do a video on optimal building set ups for various needs, like an optimal economic or military chain? I'm not new to total war but still fairly clueless about this new set up

Cool, one last question, does it make sense to get rid of growth buildings once you're done with growth? Do they offer nothing but growth?

Nice video, I'm a new player looking to progress up the difficulty ranks so this gave me an idea of how an experienced player handles economics and such. I definitely enjoy the battles but choosing where to expand to, how much I can handle at one time, how many armies I want to get at what point - these are the things that are hardest for me currently. Judging by the video I need to use diplomacy more to ensure I don't get walked over from 7 different directions. Keep it up!

When you ventured east to capture more territory did you at all times have another stack in Reikland to keep other factions from walking in and taking a settlement? When you talked about having your baracks in a settlement I found that interesting because I'd worry about it being taken over and not being able to recruit those units anymore.

I have now entered the end game phase on my campaign, I wanted to try and expand east as you did. But at the same moment that I was setting up to take over Stirland, Wissenland took his lands. So I felt that I had to go northwest instead, first chaos wave wiped out all other Empire factions, leaving me and two vampire factions left in the Empire area . I decided to ally with Eastalia and Border Princes as I wanted some kind of assistance against Archaon and his forces. Now the Vampire Counts have a defensive alliance with the Greenskin and we're pretty much two gigantic blocks that are about to start a real war, very entertaining campaign

I have to say I’m quite shocked that I’m struggling to get into this game. Last time I had a PC was mid 2000. Last Total War I played was ROME. I firstly find this games UI very different. It’s left me totally confused. Rome was so simple. I could clearly see the construction tab, I had my build units menu. I could even get a 3D view of my settlement. In Warhammer (Empire) campaign nothing is explained very well at all. How do you build? most construction is locked off due to population constraints. So how do you stimulate growth? How do you construct farms? Constructing units seems locked to the hiring of Lords? I can’t seem to take my units out of my settlement at Altdorf. In Rome you could move whatever units you like and even have a lower General/sergeant of a basic unit come up threw the ranks. I’m confused.

Any updated videos to take into account beastmen etc. They feck me up at the start everytime with orcs attacking from all sides, chasing around secessionist and then the inevitable rebellions.

The orcs don't bother me at all in my campaign although my campaign is on normal mode

Hello. Will you do guides for the other factions?

Kislev doesn't want to trade later as one of their conditions for - bonuses are "Too Powerful." The larger your forces, confederacy, the more you win and build, the more you qualify.

Any advice on fighting the Norsca/chaos factions? I have the Reikland set up like you showed, but am now having to dedicate 2/3rds of my army to defeating these endless stacks of vikings that are coming from the north. Aaand the vampire counts just declared war on me too.

They've never gone south of Eilhart though. Trying to decide if i should just savescum to before the war.

Do you know how to get skaeling and Varg as your vassal on easy or normal difficulty? If so please share your wisdom ;) Thanks

***** ah ok, I see. And what about if you were playing as the warriors of chaos, is there a way to get them into being your vassal without them breaking it or can you only get them to become your military allies? Thanks for replying btw

If you get rid of the barracks at the capitol and place it in Helmgart, where do you produce greatswords, as they need the armory?

I've restarted the campaign on legendary 16 times in all (I have one campaign stuck on turn 90 due to the chaos invasion bug brought in with Beastmen DLC) and never once do the Empire Successionists have a force at the orc town on turn 3, it always runs away at the end of turn 2 as the Dwarves from nearby are there, who subsequently take the town before you reach it. Your 2nd force awaiting the ambush from the orcs is always intercepted by the orcs when they teleport in underground so you have no chance of sending your main force into support it. Am I getting unlucky or what? I just wanted to try your early Vampire Counts destruction strat :(

I am back on patch 1.1 as the Beastman update broke far too much stuff so in theory it should be the same one you played, but I just don't get the same outcomes as you :|

started dozen times, but neither kislev and bretonnia doesnot want to trade me at the first turn except the first time. so sad¬¬

Ah okay, I ordered a cheap popfilter from aliexpress, not sure if it helps on breathing though. But if you have a headset mounted mic its wont be easy to get a popfilter installed :)

Good lord diplomacy for me was always low at the start even when I offered payment

If you pardon rebels without kills 100%+Leader then replenish/recruit and comeback over and over. Execute them if you can't get a 1 sided battle.

Hello, I like the way you explain things, however these tutorials are for pro players which are playing on hard or legendary. Would you ever consider doing guide for players like me who play on easy or normal and are not as good at the game. They would'nt have to be as in depth or anything, but some usful tips would be nice, thanks .

Nice video but two things. I think trade agreements have become harder I fx can't trade with Kisvel. Second the Castellan Engineer (lord #2) does not pay of untill later in the game. He costs 1075 (including recruitment cost) and 250 each turn. The discount early on is only 200 witch nets you a great loss. If you wait until you have to build fx the engineers workshop the discount there pays for him first turn. But there is probberly a middle ground.

Any chance of a Dwarf guide mate?

Warhammer 1, best faction for defensive play style would be cool! Just my 2 cents ^^ (watched and loved all your other guides btw!)

Yeah having a barraks in a major settlement is a huge waste of space. Since it can be build from first tier and only grows to third tier. One of the first things I do after I take Grundburge is build a Barraks there and demolish the one in Altdorf.

It looks like each campaign plays the same every time... why replay them.

Maybe at some point, most of this stuff was patched, because none of it works anymore even on Easy.

So you never actually battle ? I thought that was the fun part of the game

U actually lose money by using that construction general. U save what, 10% on construction costs but spend a couple hundred gold on that generald upkeep each turn
