In my AU, it's Mal not Mike because Mike got trapped inside Mal but Mal was getting hated and he eventually couldn't take it anymore so he wanted to get Mike back but Mike had dissapeared from Mal's memory so Mike was stuck as Mal. Mal tries to be better but he fails very miserably at it. Hope this helped ❤
