The Flugabwehrkanonenpanzer (Flakpanzer) Gepard 1A2 is an improved modification of the standard Flakpanzer Gepard. It has a new fire control system that increases engagement range while decreasing reaction time. Four Fliegerfaust 2 Stinger missiles, two on each side of the turret, were also added.
Introduced in Update "Apex Predators", the Flakpanzer Gepard 1A2 is similar to the standard Flakpanzer Gepard in terms of gameplay. The addition of four Fliegerfaust 2 Stinger missiles extends its engagement range slightly but should not be relied on to hit aircraft as they are fairly easy to evade.

i think of Robo Cop with this thing. Please play Vickers mk11 i need to see how to play it and if its worth it
In real life this thing is the king. Even today its being used in Ukraine. I think its the best SPAA in its BR.

War Thunder is somewhat confusing... navigate to -> Options -> Main Parameters -> Battle Interface You can change some HUD settings there; I'm just not sure if that's what you mean There's also the option to change the in-game HUD using specific arrows. When you're in a match, hold down the ALT key on your keyboard to get a cursor. At the bottom center of the screen, there's an arrow. You can use that to toggle the HUD (ammo display, etc.) on and off. Maybe that helps.

will the normal gepard still be effective at top tier? let say like 10.3?

by 10.3, the air spawns get moved back even further, so much so that Stinger missiles (from the Ozelot or the Gepard 1A2) would have a really low chance to lock onto easy targets like helicopters, by then it would be more practical to deploy a Roland SAM which has a maximum effective range much further than any of the SPAA systems listed

Why ozelot and this Gepard have same BR? ozelot need to be 9.0-9.3
in my opinion, the Gepard needs to be nerfed. I understand that an AA needs to have the ability to defend itself, but the Gepard is too overpowered when it comes to its duel cannons. they pen and overpressure some of my heaviest tanks when I am frontally facing it. btw I am a American main and I know that the sergeant York is like that too, but they need to nerf overpressure.

pretty sure front penning mbts and such with the gepard is only (mostly?) possible with the armor piercing rounds. Which the gepard, is only able to hold 40 rounds of them, and has to fire in order to switch the rounds. Its probably why they're able to pen you from the front but yeah i think the gepard is fine where its at.
