Πολεμησαν κατα την Ελληνικη επανασταση με τα Ελληνικα λαβαρα κατα των Τουρκων και των Τουρκαλβανων. Πολλοι ηρωες της επαναστασης ηταν Αρβανιτες, οι Σουλιωτες, Υδραιοι, Σπετσιωτες ηταν Αρβανιτες για παραδειγμα. Μην τους μπερδευετε με τους Αλβανους. Technically Greeks do not understand this music. Has nothing to do with Greek. Arvanites, arberesh, arbanoi, alvanos, Albanian, Arbanasi, Arberia are all the same words, correlated to the Albanians. It's really a no brainer. Άνετα την μεταφράζουμε διότι είναι η γνήσια Αρβανίτικη διάλεκτος την οποία μίλαγαν οι ήρωες του 21 τότε που δεν υπήρχε αλβανικό έθνος ούτε αλβανική γλώσσα συμφωνα με τον Ξενοφώντα και τον Στράβωνα.. Στην Αρβανίτικη υπάρχουν πολλές λέξεις ομηρικές
