I like how he prioritizes the pickup selection over finishing the phrase. TOAN comes first!

Isn't it amazing how he makes everything look so easy? 😮

Right!? It’s painful to watch how effortless he makes it look.

Indeed it is. He almost makes me think I could play his songs... almost, lol.

I absolutely love the solo that starts around 3:44 ...just sounds so epic and almost a little melancholy at the part with the 2 big bends. I believe it's just the natural minor scale for that little section but the way he phrases it is just so tasty. Actually looked up the tab to be able to try and play at least just the slow bits of the solo (I wouldn't have a chance with the faster parts). The tab says he does a 2 step bend from the 15th fret! Really nice having the close up on this video as I can see it's a slightly less crazy 1 step bend from the 17th fret. But I think the 1.5 step bend on the 19th fret after that is actually correct so really going to have to work on my finger/wrist strength. And just to think that this is a relative 'easy' part of the song. The hybrid picking/tapping technique he's using for the verse just seems ridiculous, getting so many notes for hardly any picking motions.

That was a spectacular guitar playing performance! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I still need to listen again to their song to understand their music. It contains many elements such as jazz, progressive rock, a bit of djent sound, etc. Great video, by the way!

It’s so complex isn’t it? Takes me a few watches to get my head around it, too.

@@Moakalatte Yes, it does. It is like watching a movie, with so many interesting storylines or chapters, which you need to re-watch it all over again to finally understand how each stories or chapters interconnected with each other. Great, isn't it? 😀

The worst part about getting into music theory is that it ruins a lot of songnames lol

I love Tosin. He is incredibly talented, but the music is so boring. In this particular vid you can barely hear what he is even doing. Every song kind of sounds the same after a while. It's impressive, but uninteresting. I'm not trying to talk shit. I remember when the Cafo video came out. I heard it and was like "Wow this is awesome" and I got the album. I made it through one time and haven't listened to it since.
