Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean and with Kiri Te Kanawa singing a beautiful piece of music - pure Inspiration, Artistry and Magic. Sublime. Thank you.

This was exquisitely beautiful and sensual. I know Dean choreographed a lot of their skates and this looks like his ear mark (to me, but not sure) with the interlocking patterns (catch foot sequence) and defying gravity as they glide across the ice, Jayne balanced precariously on his legs. Just lovely. They define what skating should be about. A beautiful ballet on ice.

They are to Ice Dancing what Michelangelo was to sculpture. The artistry is breathtaking. They are beauty in motion. I don't know how to describe what I see-genius obviously but it is the incandescent quality of the skating that is so moving-not only in romantic and elegiac dance but even in comedy they can still move one to tears-John Curry and Fonteyn and Nureyev also come to mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AR such a beautiful routine and perfectly skated, I’ve always loved this music, such a haunting melody

I've not seen that before, their skating is mesmerising, truly dancing as one

when they skated, they skated with feelings and emotions. absolutely beautiful and touching. they made up a perfect team and am far ahead of their time.

Very well said, the more it wasn't that common with professional skaters, who more often than not just limit themselves to cutting off coupons of their prievious achievements.

Pure genius. Cristopher Dean was so far ahead of his time as an ice-dance choreographer. This was one of my favorite pieces of theirs, along with "Encounter" and "Missing".

Jayne also participated in choreography. While Chris had the main ideas, she helped to refined them and made them work. Her contribution was invaluable. So it's not fair to forget about her, especially that it was always two of them who were credited as choreographers.

You are right..in an interview with them both Chris said that the reason they gell so well is that they both bring different things and that he loves choreographing routines but then Jayne makes it sharp and work with her superb technicality..
