She was my favorite in Atlantis and the best Atlantis commander.

Her passion and determination made her my favorite in all Stargates. I still watch Stargate Atlantis mainly because of her character.

Torri Higginson was so good on Atlantis, I almost forgot she was the 2nd person to play Dr. Elizabeth Weir.

Such a warm and wonderful woman,she seems genuinely nice. When you watch these shows you don’t see the person,but the character. Tori is one of my favorite actresses in Sci-fi and I’d love to see her as a regular in another show.

What a wonderful person. I just watched SGA again and fell in love with Weir, again.

I don't get why so many people seems to not like her character so much. I think she's amazing.

Torri was amazing in her role as the leader of Atlantis expedition.

I liked her character on Stargate Atlantis, I was disappointed when they decided to cut Elizabeth Weir from the show . Torri was good at it

Shes in Dark Matter. So glad too though only on every other episode.

I had a lovely chat with Torri in November 2007 at MK, it was great cos in January 2008 she did a con (Wolf Events) Pegasus 3 so we got to meet Torri again and to spend more time with her during her 2 Q & A’s over the weekend which was awesome. Such great times 😀

She is gorgeous, one of my greatest crushes

Worst decision the producers of "Atlantis" made was getting rid of Torri and Weir, the show was never as strong and i personally usually only watch seasons 1-3. If there was ever a new Star Trek series she'd be my dream 1st officer, great actress :)

I didn't like it either and hated the way they chose to write her out. One thing for her to be caught by the replicators but the episode when Shepard and McCay found her they should have brought her back to Atlantis only for her to have to leave to go back to earth for debriefing and deal with the aftermath of her experience. But no, didn't happen, and felt like that was a disgrace by the writing. Didn't mind the episodes with Carter, she was good but hated when Woolsey was put in charged like the actor hated that character from the moment he showed up on Stargate so stopped watching all together then.

Loved Torri as Elizabeth Weir. Best character in the Stargate franchise. Her and Joe Flanigan had the best chemistry. Horrible decision to get rid of her in season 4. Show went downhill without her in it. Now I only watch seasons 1 to 3 when I rewatch Atlantis.

Wow I have a new found respect for Torri, I liked the character she played but found the character a bit too 1D, in comparison Torri is much more bubbly

Always wondered why they cast the second doctor we're did the first one just not cut make the cut there I mean she fired why didn't the first dr. Weir stay on the blond

What a sweetheart. Still working my way thru Season 2. There is only one scene where she is lighthearted with Sheppard and calls him “Johnny” with a grin. It seems so out of character for Weir, I wonder if it was ad lib. If so, I am glad they kept it. I know she’s the expedition leader but she has a compelling demeanor that was underutilized. I’ve sneaked a look ahead and heard she leaves the show. Bummer, they had farther to go with the Weir character. The producers say they only intended her to be a General Hammond for Atlantis. She was way more than that. What a waste!

The first interracial kiss on tv was on the original Star Trek. So I'm not quite sure what she's referring to. This was in the 60's.

well she seems nice, she's a little tired here though, aww Dr Weir was lacking a few traits that I wish they let Torri draw out... at least on her off time. Season 1 Weir was a little mean but she worked out later on...

I think she meant the actor who was Robert Picardo, who played Woolsey he was also The Doctor on Star Trek Voyager.

I get why people want to know the Fate of the Destiny, but honestly? Screw it. SGU was so bad, i only want a 2 Minute Mini-Episode that clears that Story-line up and then a Big 'The End' floating though Space. Just that. The Wraith-Storyline meanwhile actually is Important, actually needs to be Finished, and what-not-else could be said about it. The Wraith-Storyline needs to be finished, and no one can finish it right with less than 2 Movies or 2 Seasons. We also can't possibly get some entirely new Stargate in the Future and the Wraith-Storyline is just finished in ONE SENTENCE "Oh, yeah, remember the Wraith and how we defeated them?" and that's it... That would be terrible.
