The Torrevieja half marathon, all 21 kilometres, is run through the town and along the coast.
In 2024 around 1500 runners took part in the half marathon and 5km races.
The 5km race covers almost the same route as the half marathon.
This year the men's half marathon winner finished in 1hr 5 mins and the fastest female finished in 1 hour 20 minutes.
This event gets bigger every year and is putting Torrevieja firmly on the map.
