Toronto City Tour in a Cessna - First Flight as a Licensed Pilot
My first flight as a licensed pilot and my first passenger!
Departed CYTZ Billy Bishop, flew east to the Scarborough Bluffs, north to Buttonville and then south for a tour of the Toronto Downtown core before a sunset landing back at CYTZ.
Cessna 150. Includes ATC Audio and ATC Subtitles

Nice! I miss flying out of city center! always nice views!
You realise you have the best life, Toronto is my favourite city, great take off and I love the position of City Airport, looking at the CN tower, I do this route the most from Buffalo to Toronto City airport on my flight SIM< obvs no where near the excitement for the real thing.. Keep it up.
Woohoo this is the coolest thing I have seen on KZread in long time. To see my city from above and experience flight almost in real time is awesome. Now I know exactly when they tell us not to fly our drones in the city. The sky has routes and many planes travel on it. I have to upgrade my drone licence immediately. @24.1 the propeller seems stalled and it reversed direction. Why did that happen? Is it because you want to lose altitude? Usually I see plane landing on the west side of tarmac but you landed from the east side. Why is that. Now I want to get my sessna licence and fly over tdot and more 😁. Thanks for sharing this with us. I had great fun watching it.
Done this flight many times, nice work!

@@flywiththomas Yes. Haven't flown since end of November though (weather, winds and work). Will have to fly with an instructor before renting again.
u jost got your 55th. sub
I wonder what the procedure is for becoming a pilot. What kind of training procedure do I need to go through in order to get my own plane? Care to enlighten a bit?

This is a pretty good video outlining the requirements in the U.S. Most countries have similar requirements: kzread.info/dash/bejne/c456rap9ZsWviJc.html
