Torino Nice Rally 2022
12th to 17th September 2022, we rode from Turin to Nice via the Torino-Nice Rally route.
Day 1 - Turin to Rifugio Vulpot
Day 2 - Rifugio Vulpot to Cesena Torinese via Colle Colombardo, Colle delle Finestre + Strada dell'Assietta. It's brutal when you find you find your booked rifugio is closed as the sun goes down.
Day 3 - Cesena Torinese to Refuge Agnel via Col d'Izoard + Col Agnel with a monsoon over the Izoard
Day 4 - Refuge Agnel to Rifugio della Gardetta via Col Agnel (again), Colle Sampeyre, Italy's death road and a subsequent police fine, + hike-a-bike up Passo Gardetta
Day 5 - Rifugio della Gardetta to Rifugio Don Barbera via Little Peru, Monumento al Pirata, Col du Tende + Via del Sal.
Day 6 - Rifugio Don Barbera to Café du Cycliste, Nice via the end of Via del Sal and a 30km hot and rocky climb up to La Redoute and the Col de Turini.
