I cried when I saw this the first time, and even now it's sooo moving...My favourite from Choirgirl, I think..

The single concert I've attended as an adult was Tori Amos and if there is to be only one, I will never be sorry it was that one.

I listened to this song after my ex kidnapped my son and I had just miscarried another son. It was like she was reading my mind. I was in turmoil. I feel Tori is a blessing to me and all other women out there. I love you Tori!

I have been there too my ex husband kidnapped my daughter. We had been broken up for years I went after him he beat the baby out of me.

Women feel this song on a different level. It's not just about loss, it's about feeling like it's your fault, feeling like you and your body are failures, like you let yourself and your child down. Either you've experienced it, you're going to experience or, or you're afraid of experiencing it. I don't doubt men get this song. And I'm sure it can be interpreted in many different ways. But it's just not the same for men as it is for women.

Men feel it too just in different ways they expierance their pain they may not blame themselves to the extent we do as every fiber of our being tries to turn on us because we were the literal vessel for that life but they have to watch our self destruction in many cases and feel powerless to do anything about it. It's like watching someone slowly commit sucicide.

I can't remember where. I downloaded an entire concert from 2002 (I think) and this came with it as a hidden bonus. I didn't realise it was in there until I opened the folder. Very nice surprise indeed!

It's actually the Wurlitzer, they sometimes sound a bit similar so it's easy to confuse them. She did do Playboy Mommy live on the Rhodes in 2005, also a nice version!
