Brad, gotta hand it to you. A couple a years ago you would have been utterly confused and discombobulated by a song like this. But you are appreciating it now for what it is; a piece of art that can be interpreted in any number of ways. Props!

You really need to do "Winter" for your next Tori reaction. One of the most beautiful songs you'll ever hear, and if you are a wrestling fan, Mick Foley used to listen to it before doing death matches because he found that strangely listening to something so beautiful and heart wrenching got him in the proper head space to go out and do awful things to himself and his opponent.

Great reaction as always. Interpreting Tori's lyrics is like trying to interpret Tools lyrics.

One of my top all time favorite musicians. Love Tori, who grew up as the daughter of a pastor. Winter is tops. Leather is sexy. Dig in.

Tori has played a live mashed up version with Kate Bush's song Running Up That Hill many, many times since 2005. it's definitely worth checking out.

Her father was a minister but she isn't religious. I don't know if she believes in any kind of god or not but I'm pretty sure doesn't believe in an interventionist god with any kind of actual plan. I can see how being raped might easily lead a person to that conclusion.

It is definitely a conversation with God. She says she had a crush on Jesus as a child - her relationship with God is complicated as a minister's daughter who no longer supports the church. She IS extremely spiritual. Perhaps listen to Buelah Land, Father Lucifer (written directly after an ayahuasca trip where she "had tea with the Devil"), Muhammad My Friend, Mrs. Jesus, & Devils and Gods for a more complete understanding of her stance.

Tip to get more viewers: I have never watched one of your videos before. I clicked on it, you started the music. You're moving, but not really to the music. This immediately tells me that you're going to be one of those insincere reaction video people who pretend to be into a song from the get-go, watch the whole thing, then say, "It's amazing." End of video. That is so no great. Take the Lost in Vegas playbook. Take your time to get into it. Be real. If you end up naturally to it, great. If you hate it, SAY SO. Don't be phoney. I love Tori Amos. I understand that some people may hate her, and I wouldn't hold that against them. But I do hold it against someone for coming online and pretending move to music they are not into.

FIRST OF ALL, A) God has a very catchy drum so him. shaking his @ss to the drum makes sense, B) his assesment was SPOT On the song and he caught up quick about the song. C) before yo go on your INCORRECT rant DO YOUR HOMEWORK, Tori herself dances "off" to her own songs in her own rhythm, yo @ss claims to be a Tori Fan and that you love her but you dunno Sh!t. GET IT RIGHT NEXT TIME SO YOU DONT GET DRAGGED LIKE I JUST DRAGGED YOU.

brad hears all these songs live on streams so its not correct to say he's being disingenuous about the fact he's listening to it. he generally listens to about 19 songs on these streams so it is more rushed than the vegas guys who i enjoy as well. if you want more of a truly critical breakdown on songs watch the channel critical reactions....much more progressive music on that channel but he has done quite a few tori songs...some he likes some he's not a fan of.

@poipu425 I wasn't saying I think he's not actually listening. I'm saying he's pretending to be into it, which is what most of the reaction channel people do, because they are afraid if they don't pretend to like someone's favorite song, they will lose viewers.
