My advice is don't. What makes stf so good now is its simplicity. A monkey could do it. This MD build takes more effort to play and is very dependent on the boss not killing you while your casting a whole ritual. I would know I've starred playing MD too. If staf too easy for you and ya wanna play MD for a challenge then by all means. The biggest advantage is the rotation cam be optimized to work forever unlike quadel mage that can use quadel twice then twiddle there thumbs 😅

Magic Device is lowkey quite strong. It is underrated and since you are using critless build. MD will have stable dmg definitely. And it doesnt care about any bosses' critical res. But hey since toram devs did say that future bosses have more ways to counter burst damage. So that means staff might struggle alot, who knows?

I don't mean to knock on this but, potions, pet AND spare proration/protection doesn't really help sell anything as OP. I'd love to see this done more natural bc I do think MD is annoyingly weak in its niches and power outright.
