So I wasn't following the current meta But yeah with the new guard and evasion system, it's a lot easier to not get hit at all so it makes sense to go full glass cannon build nowadays

Atleast this boss doesn't spam spikes unlike the past 2 years of new bosses. I swear spikes are like a massive middle finger to the 10% player base. 90% being CF and Finale users.

Spikes are more horrible for finale than meele dps for me. At least I can dodge with meele dps, unlike finale who will be immobile for 6 seconds, and can only move once.

@@anandasatria7734 But there's the evasion cancel for cast skills now and finale have the option to use the shield tree and extra stats to use on vit or resist. Meanwhile melee is pretty much useless if it was a badly placed spikes and there's also a whole alphabet of debuff to worry about and those fuckers stack. The game bosses designs and moveset are top tier. But man the damage and debuff is an overkill.

@@anandasatria7734 more horrible for finale? dodge? yes, melee can indeed dodge the massive spikes from bosses, but what happens after they cave themselves inside those spikes? nothing, it becomes a staring contest between the boss and melee player until the spike is gone, and spikes like those are common place for the lot of the bosses in this game, Mom Fluck and Crystal Titan to name a few. Don't even get me started on Gopherga and Adaro whose spike radius are just small enough for melees to attack but big enough for them to be punished if they move a single pixel forward, and what manner of disadvantage do CF and Finale users get? barely, Finale users only need a good corner to spam while CF users can freely move around the battlefield since CF doesn't even have a cast time nor does it have a long animation.

@@ImSaixe A question, what is evasion cancel? Did you mean mirage? If so, no, mirage sure help, but meh at most boss fights. Also, adding extra stats to vit or mtl is a no go for me. Finale's damage is very outclassed than the other DPS, especially since they need to wait for save frame for them to use finale and evade at most once only. So, I won't go for them, unless I'm planning to support. Finale also need to worry about those debuffs. Don't worry, you're not alone. Finale can't even cast magic on a highly attack crowded battlefield. And worse, finale's casting have 50% chance (cmiiw) to got *CANCELED* if *ANY* damage hit them. Shield skill tree is barely any use. You can get the almost same effect with elegant poise or shadow walk. Shadow walk is even better since you can use it with mirage evasion. This is talking about finale, and how mages recover MP? That's right, MP charge. Another 2.5 seconds of standing still there. Mirage evasion isn't unlimited. If you want to evade while charging MP, you'll need to wait 10 second after your last mirage. What's the difference between that and waiting spike to come down? Also, finale is easily evadeable by the enemy. That a big minus point for finale.

Even if you somehow manage to go full solo without another party joining, the Dark Domain party (Dunkelis, Vatendeth, and Halios) along with Pelulu will come to aid you as the secondary party.
