I can see a certain logic to breaking down the heroes as well as their Exclusive Skills. Having lots of useless high-level heroes artificially inflates your CP and makes it harder to transfer servers, which is also an issue a lot of players have complained about. And I'm not against the idea of potentially getting back some universal hero shards from old heroes as well as exclusive skill shards. However, it will come down to how well thought out and executed their plan is, and this is Rivergame we're talking about. Edit: And I REALLY hope they don't mess with the rare and regular hero skills in the process. It's taken me a long time to build up what I've got.

It could all be so easy. Hero skill to recycle. But RG sees this as a problem with your sales/profit. That's why something so complicated is created in order to maintain or increase sales/profit. It's all crazy how expensive this game is and will be.

This thing about recyclement of old excl skills was a crazy idea from the beginning. Rivergame is a business and need to make money. So then can not help give you something for free. This is a matter for: be very careful what you wish for, you may get it. And now you are unhappy about what you are getting.

Yeah, I would like to see some sort of recycle for gold shards as well as the skills. Tons of unused stuff out there after playing for a few years.

I'm worried that the same thing will happen that happened with the fixed top war movement 😢 where a bunch of us jumped into support the unfair things river game was doing. With little to no progress. I'm still going to do my part and do the questionnaire because I like top war it's a great game but my hopes of river game hearing or listening is near zero 😞.

From what I can tell, instead of only recycling the Exclusive Hero Skills, Rivergame is considering resetting all the heroes and their Exclusive Skills back to zero, giving some sort of compensation for it and then you build up the heroes you want.

The leaks we have say : a hero reset + new way to max a hero will be far more expensive. It’s not easy to get access to this type of info’s . And rivergame tried to keep it quiet and hit us with this overnight

Rivergame doesnt do math, most of players also. If you want to keep a certain power, then you wont recycle indestructible hero cos we lack of. You wont recycle megatron optimus mei silence...cos they provide permanent buff. Wich leave very few hero to recycle to provide shard (cos we havent up those bad hero). Anyway i see no reason to party.

I have 80 M CP and still won't pay for level 7 skills if the price goes up that definitely won't make me buy them if I already don't. If I was able to recycle some I would buy some skills to fill the rest if the price is the same .

If the prices go up, I don't think the customers will be satisfied. The new customers who come into the game, I don't think their persistence will last very long if the prices continue to rise. Of course, rich people can spend as much as they want, but topwar loses a lot of loyal 20-80€/month spenders, which the game needs to stay on the market. A great episode.

to be honest I am curious if beside the hero shards we can also get skill shards from old heros including those that you get from recrutiment, I see no value in getting shards from heros that you get from recruitment as I use them as perk farm , but I guess I don't need some heros like nemo anymore so could be useful in some cases but I hope for hero skills shards dismantle into universal shards , otherwise tw move makes not much of sense for players

If they go this route they might as well delete over half the heroes as no one will upgrade them.

If this change happens I will stop playing. I’m tired of all the cash grabs.

I just see this leading to more players leaving the game. It’s expensive enough. I know they are trying to slow down whales a bit but it’s not going to work. They need to have dedicated servers for whales and force player to join these servers once they reach a certain CP. That will cause player to slow down development to stay on the server they want until they can move in a group. Making match ups more entertaining and fair. Also hero reset isn’t a bad idea. A lot of players invested in useless heros and realized after the fact.

Our suggestion: hero special skill recycling tool Their idea : reset all heroes (which sounds good ) but after : maxing a hero (like now : 5stars) will be far far more expensive. Not worth the trade and it’s bad . Especially for f2p , low , medium spenders

I get why RG is raising prices.. The recycling tool is just a refund tool for the players. For example, a lvl5 say cost 200 dollars. The refund tool would give 50% back. So player gets back 100 dollars to put towards new hero in which RG only gets 100 dollars for new hero lvl5. So RG resets all the heros, charges 400 dollars for lvl5. Recycle tool gives back 50% and new hero costs player 200 dollars. So RG still gets same price for lvl5

Want to get them to listen to you? Speaking to them has not worked in the past and will not work in the future. Point out all the shit they are doing, unequal pricing packs across different countries, titan effects, questionable matchmaking systems, 100% refund on old hero skill shards etc. Get everyone to stop spending until they fix those issues. Sooner or later when their revenue dives, their shareholders are going to question the developers and with their jobs at stake, you will have them begging to listen to you.

Top war doesn't care about doing anything that makes sense they like to "fix" things in the game that AREN'T broken and want to leave things that cause unbalance game play and then wonder why people decide to quit 🤦‍♂️

Universal skill recycling will mostly benefit a small number of old, high-spending players. A 1yr old server will be able to recycle a bit, which is great, but older players will get lvl 7 everything and increase inequality.

As a game designer, I'm disgusted by how these developers operate. I understand how all this can be justified by saying people play the game simply to progress (and adding more room to progress must be good) but there's aspects to the game that are MISSING. Like, army exclusive skill boxes from AD or whatever automatically set the bar to max opens, while navy ones default to just 1. Things like the wall decor are so unfathomably bad i cant even begin to comprehend it. This game is built to attract money, and I'm now going to hand off my account. 2 years and 2 months of playing, but I'm vip0 so they won't care. They truly won't. Ive been wondering when i would have enough of this bs. Topwar is fun but it makes so many more bad decisions than good ones. 2 years and 2 months, i still can't compete with 6 month old average accounts, i still don’t have morale, I'm still only level 90 on my air force suppressions, i still dont have 2 heroes perked, i still dont have a level 7 es, even if i pool all my es shards and multiply them by 2 (ive bought almost every es box from events), i still only have 6 skins, including basic, recruit, and open stage, I still only have 2 gold equip (just got my second), and perhaps worst of all, despite being an air force main, i have not had a single chance to obtain maximo with gems. Great analysis buddy and great summary of the reality out there for f2p . As a developer you can understand this better : I would say , stats are irrelevant IF THE match making is far as possible. Big battle events can NOT provide that …small battle can. I still have hope …yes is running on reserves indeed .

Repent you are very wrong. T-me is doing the complete opposite!! He was able to retire from his work younger than most of us & then spends many hours making/editing these Videos & trust me is not getting compensated from Rivergames at all. He is just trying to help with his free time. A thank you should be the minimum you should be writing. Also the huge long list of issues with TW is our fault. They are clearly a greedy immoral company but we continue to spend which feeds their greed & also so why would they listen to us ?!? If you want to be helpful too try like I have many times to get people to stop spending or I constantly contact my rep at Rivergames to complain & make suggestions. I wish more would do what he, I & others are doing! Imagine if all would stop spending?!? Imagine if all would bombard their support with complaints?!? Please dont complain here. Use that time to complain to Rivergames.

I stopped donating to the game at all, after what they did with the selection to TA 2, the balance to TA 2, and the situation with the heroes on the new servers with their bestial attitude, if necessary, we can boycott the game, not enter the game for several days, a week, so that the fall of online would bring them to their senses and change their bestial attitude towards the players.
