Hi, I have crack this exam through self study only. But, I have took the help of various KZread channels that provide free KZread videos and Bansal biology is one of them. Avantika Ma'am KZread videos have had really helped me in cracking JRF with a good rank. Applying the knowledge in the right direction is very imp. If you are working hard, but you are going in wrong direction or if you don't know in which direction to go, then its all wasted. If you think that you are going in a right direction during your preparation( you can sense that when you solve pyqs and you are getting it all right or when you see increment in your marks or percentile, as compared to previous attempt/exam), then I think you don't need paid courses. But, if you don't know in which direction to go, from where to start, you are not getting marks, even though you are trying, then you must go for paid courses, without wasting your time.
