We visited the Topkapi Palace first when we arrived in Istanbul, and it ended up being one of, if not the, favorite places we went to! It cost about $30 to get in, but it was very expansive and could easily make a day or half day to explore. The architecture and scenery were so beautiful - it felt like a fairytale! There was also so much cool history and epic artifacts to see. 100% recommend going if you are in the area - it was amazing! I could see myself dreaming of fantasy worlds the whole time we were there.
