ie my radiator fan runs at super high speed a few minutes after you turn it on even without the A/C on so I am trying to use the TopDon to find the problem but cant find a specific radiator fan or how to get to it since I just bought the unit a few days ago, trying to figure out if it is the ECM or the air conditioning sensor a/c sensor or condensor sensor or a bad ECM blown fuse or coolant pump etc causing fan to go high speed or a short or blown fuse, it started after my battery went dead and I jumped the car , recharged the battery and then the check engine light came on and then the high fan speed started a day later etc. the TopDon complete health report only had ECM - Engine Control Module(ME) 1 problems exist 1.P203E-004 No CAN Message From Instrument Cluster Or Message Faulty. Communication Fault / See Also CAN Status In Freeze Frame data(P0600)

I have a 2004 Mercedes e500 and a wireless TopDon 800t , how did you get to the radiator fan speed diagnosis screen of the unit ? not sure which diagnosis screen you picked , steps please I am sure my TopDon 800t unit has similar screens thanks

its not about the scanner its about the module the u scanning it some car module had limited data on it ..Example most of car i can see the live data for misfire cylinder 1 to 6 and it shows number of how many misfire on the bad cylinder ..some car on the otherhand wont show any data of misfire so it depends on the car module u working on i did notice that so many times

some other brands have the ability to change the speed of the fan up and down using the scanner , can the TopDon 800t unit change the radiator fan speed and testing it to lower and increase the fan speed

its up to the module installed in ur car ..if ur rad fan module is made of variable speed then yes my scanner can control it by percentage but if ur rad fan model is with of low and high speed only then u can probably control it by low and high
