Very entertaining video! It is to strange that they never got the head sculpt right for Anakin. The concept art one definitely looks the most like him. To bad to costs so much😂 hopefully they make an updated version of episode three Anakin in the vintage collection

Anakin is defo on my Top 25 needs for TVC March Madness! I reckon Hasbro could kick ass with him now! 😉👌🏼💙

I grew up with that Anakin from the saga collection with the lightsaber attack swing and cloak. Mine was the “heroes and villains” saga repack I believe. I have such heavy bias from looking at it for 20 years that I don’t even question if it looks like Hayden. To me it feels more like Hayden even if the TVC one is better on a technical level. The nostalgia goggles are strong with me.

Great series. This was a fantastic thing you thought of doing. For me,it shows how many different figures there are for one character. And so far,the choices you've made as to which characters to show has been spot on for me. Totally agree with you for your first choice. You've said it many times before,that the lack of soft goods actually makes the figure look better. Totally loving this series. Again,what you do for the community and the videos you put out,are great. It definitely got me back into collecting again. Cheers👍

I was either 6 or 7 when revenge of the sith came out. I watched it and loved it. I see 1 or 2 that I had possibly and I still have the Jedi star fighter of anikin and obi wan.

Yes, I did play with that last figure as a kid under 10 yrs old. It was fun times but even at that age I thought the lack of movement & articulation was whack and the fact his head would disappear into his body was gimmicky. Your 4th and 2nd choices would be my thoughts for #1. You would think a modern definitive Ep 3 Anakin would be a best seller, in high demand of an update.

I never realized how great the head sculpt and overall figure on your #1 choice was; and how much that figure has gone up in price 😯I always assumed it was like the rest of the subpar Anakin sculpts or reissues in my collection and never saw it first hand or closely until this video. One of the few Anakin's I do not have! Thanks for expanding my horizons and keeping me on the HUNT!

I noticed that you're missing the Target Order 66 Anakin. He is my number 1 with the all black being number 2

I have a 5 POA figure of Anakin, idk if it's the same one that you were showing off. But I bought it for like $2. And use it in my Jedi Interceptor of his with a soft goods cloak. Kinda want a 5 POA Obi Wan to stick in my interceptor of his. 😂

Awesome top to flop. I can't get over how much of a difference in quality between your number 1 chouce, which looks incredible. To the last place version,which looks awful. I don't remember that last place Anakin, what line was that one from. What mind of gimmick is that where his head gets pushed into his shoulders??? Lol.

Nice!! I got that legacy figure because of your videos! haha. I think my favorite true episode 3 anakin figure is the one we get in the evolutions pack or the commerative tin collection pack. Though it shares the same body as the saga legends figure with swivel elbows.. to me it has the best head mold/ paint application than the others.

Does the saga legends Anakins head fit on the VC body. I have 2 and the yellow eyes don't work for me. Ive been wanting a definite Ani but yeah.

I have the anakin from episode 3 in black with the black glove I hot in a charity' shop near me with some other figures for about £2 . I have my anakin in the air speeder from episode 2 with kenobi episode 2 or 3 with anakin the other figure I got in the charity shop with anakin about 5 in all

Sadly not (I think) the ball joints are vastly different. It swaps with others though... I'll check some time 👌🏼👌🏼

I got a carded saga collection Anakin for $18 on ebay. I do have to say that the figure sucks, especially compared to the Obi Wan and other figures in the same line.

Even the best one is awful. Hasbro need to revisit the old clone wars obi wan and anakin need better faces and retooling.

Disagree with that man... I'd never say the Concept Art figure was awful! 🙃 incredible head sculpture, particularly the hair! 🥰👌🏼

After watching this, now I know why a lot of us are voting for a brand new E3 ROTS Anakin Skywalker figure. All of these are so outdated and horrible considering how far facial scanning and printing has become, and how much better the articulation is in modern TVC figures. You had to pick something near the top, and your choices are very respectable, but it’s a travesty that Hasbro hasn’t given us a definitive E3 Anakin in both the TVC and Black Series line. A travesty I say. Way too much attention and tooling has been paid to Disney new media garbage at the sacrifice of key and critical main characters from the OT and PT. We now have 300+ numbered TVC figures, and probably over a hundred more from exclusive and non-numbered sets, but we don’t have arguably one of the most important characters in the entire Star Wars universe. Somebody wake me up….🤦🏻‍♂️

@@OnlyOneKenobi Oh yea, I do indeed dig your #1 choice. By far the BEST E3 Anakin, so well done with that selection. The head sculpt and hair is very good, and could serve as a good base for a future updated figure. Let’s just hope it comes before the line goes dark. TVC has already run longer than any line I’ve ever collected (most have a run time of 2-5 years), so we are definitely in uncharted territory with Hasbro as it pertains to this line’s longevity. We MUST get a new E3 Anny before it all goes caput! 😬 Cheers mate! 👊
