Coquet Trust in Newcastle upon Tyne are looking for male Support Workers (Bank/part-time/full time) for Stapleford Court, Slatyford which is about two miles from the centre of Newcastle and is a brilliant place to work. 15 residents with mild autism/OCD/mental health issues who each have their own impressive apartments. If you know any males who have that special way with people then let them know!

The majority of jobs available as a student in Newcastle will be in bars and restaurants, although if you're willing to wake up early enough there may be other jobs available to you. The local accent can seem quite boorish and threatening if you're not used to it but the majority of people are friendly and helpful. For people used to smaller, more rural areas, there are other boroughs in and outside of the city centre which, although not in walking distance, have good, regular access to the city centre. Often living expenses are lower in these areas with more spacious accommodation, as with most city centres. Try and befriend a student who comes from the area or near by, they will help you acclimatise and show you the bits of the area that are often hidden or over looked
