I wish you would do a tutorial on coloring fish. Trout, specifically. The eyes and scales/shiny body when they are pulled from the water is difficult to!

if any of you guys are struggling with colors i highly recommend using the app "Colored Pencil Picker" i cant remember if there is a trial version or not but to buy it is like $8 and best 8 bucks i ever spent. You select which colored pencils you have ( Prismacolor, caran dache, etc) then upload your reference photo and it will tell you what colors to use

@@Amiehowardart I absolutely love eyes with odd colors. Have you seen the light blue and light green eyes and the light amber brown, that are so light with a tan skin. Amazing. Could you do those studies, please.

loved this tutorial, I’ve very recently started drawing realistic animals with coloured pencils (arteza/ polychromos on canson 1557 paper) having watched various tutorials I am unable to produce fine lines without them disappearing/ blending to form a new colour for the fur effect I was just wondering if anyone had any tips on how to create them?
