Starting my school social work career next week! Just finished grad school and got my LSW a few months ago. I totally have that feeling of being "not worthy" of my dream job. Doing everything I can to prepare myself mentally and go in with that confidence, and this video definitely helped. Thank you!

I’ve been watching you since I started my MSW program in 2016 😊😊 I recently was offered a position in schools as a school based therapist / social worker serving 5 schools per week through a non profit. Thank you so much for this video! I just accepted a school social work position that feels like my dream job and just like you were saying in the beginning, I'm grappling with anxiety and wondering if I deserve this and whether I'll be good at it. It was so helpful to hear that other people feel this way too. I'm transitioning from an outpatient therapist role to elementary school social worker. I start at the school in the fall and I'll definitely be watching more of your videos as I prepare to step into my new role! Thank you!

Congratulations!!! You got this! This is quite a transition...I came from juvenile corrections to middle school LOL It is scary at first but we NEED you and your expertise in schools!

Sure...I'll need to gather all my docs for a PLAN with Me Video! And YES, I provide a very brief staff training -- I will be training on Mindfulness, Child Abuse and McKinney Vento.
