The speed of the Leo 2A7V is nearly correct, the tank has a different transmission and acceleration, the top speed is 63km/h and not 61.

it's completely correct. The *theoretical* top speed is 63kph, but it's limited to 61kph by the Bundeswehr and such. The transmission is not different, it's tweaked to sacrifice a bit of speed in order to have the same amount of mobility as the Leopard 2A4

Germany, the hand held nation which doesn't even have the best Leopard 2's (with exception of this patch because of 2A7V) If anything Sweden is here handheld, the Strv122's are way better because of their armour and just in general better kit, not to mention they get both 3 uparmoured better Leopard 2's, they also get Germany's previous top mbt (2A6). 2A7V armour should be way better than the Strv122's since it's much newer and better armour, yet when people provided that evidence Gaijin nerfed it to be worse than the Strv122's

This and the B PLSS are without a doubt the best mbts in the game and the spall liners have made them so dangerous!

@@BlackHawk21ificationI feel for the first tree it’s justifiable to get players to bring lineups and get experience with different vehicles but after you reach x rank in one tree you should have all the corresponding ranks unlocked in all other trees (though should still have to research the prior vehicle down a line)

Probably in the minority of your viewership but please don't ask for sportsmanship from players when you play CAS in Ground RB. Before I get raked over the coals I believe there should be a game-mode separate from Ground RB called Joint Forces where CAS is allowed. I refuse to play CAS on the principle that I hate being in a good position and holding the fort then suddenly dying to a plane I never knew existed from insane, un-defendable heights. It's like shooting fish in a barrel, too easy so it shouldn't be in. Too many times do I run into matches where a single guy gets a kill and/or a capture point, dies then spawns in an aircraft with insane ground pound reach and dominates the match going 8-1 when in reality they touched the ground once the entire match.

Something I just noticed is that they seem to have added more armor on the cv9040c. I'm not 100% certain because I haven't unlocked it yet but it looks more armored than it used to.

It has spalliners now but other than that I think the armor is the same.

I really wish i would have ground out the Swedish ground tree when it was first added 😢

Justin you need to do what i do. Use Swedish HE rounds on turret cheeks of the T-80s and Lob a HE underneath the gun mantlet on the new T-90M and it will overpressure them :)

Haven't watched yet, but seeing it in your lineup.... fun fact, the JAS39 is definitely one of the best CAS aircraft I've ever seen, that thing is like unhittable with Pantsir/FlaRakRad/ADATS if the pilot knows how to fly, that thing can pull some truly *insane* moves! (source; I've died to them in almost every game I've brought my Pantsir/FlaRakRad to, and I don't think I'm too bad at using the missiles on them LOL)

Guess who bought the last rank VII vehicle I needed from Christmas sale and started the research on this.

I love the powercreep sweden has gotten. Back when I started playing WT sweden was pretty darn bad and basically the only reason I played it was because I'm swedish.

Its not the problem that the Strv 122s have the better armor than the Leo 2a7v, the problem is that Sweden has 3 of them with the best armor in the game + a Leo 2a6 with Dm53 and Germany only has the Leo 2a7v with the Hull spall liners and the better armor. In theory the 2a6 could carry the hull armor bcs almost all Leo 2a6s in the Bundeswehr got upgraded to the latest standards. So the 2a5. And the PSO also could carry it. It obviously has the hull upgrade vor the armor :d

Really Wish they would add the 2A6 (Afghan) Version used by the Canadians in Afghanistan. The latest Leopard put into combat use. (Aside from Ukraine)

still doesnt have the specific speed of a PSO, the only thing this has is the front hull skirt protection on the PSO but no 50cal to handle helis. so in all aspects its still a regular leo, with no outstanding features. i mean the A7V is no different. its kinda funny how all the leos weigh the same but the A7V was nerfed in speed so it wouldnt manhandle all the new tanks. but the PLSS B+ is a slap in the face tbh. i love how they were advertising a tough nut to crack but litterally like any leo, just send the round right below the breech or through the drives hatch and you are dead. like for real.

gen 1 gunner thermal is the biggest dissapointment

m/95 makes up for the lackluster penetration with so much more spalling in my experience. Probs because it's a much heavier dart than the other top tier darts

Its more because of the slower muzzle velocity and lower penetration that it has more spalling. DM53 fired from the L/55 has far less spalling because the round itself can penetrate more armor without disintegrating into fragments. Then add a higher velocity, and the spalling cone will be much narrower. DM53 is nice when it comes to shooting obscure spots on russian tanks and the m1a2, but in general, especially for side shots and weak spot shooting, at minimum L/44 DM53 is better, and then m/95 is even better.

my first game with it, stock (no repair or fpe), and i got a nuke.

and som of the cv90 got spall liners to =)

I can watch Gripen conent 24-7 x.x

the top speed between the str122b+ and the 2a7 is a bit of a useless comparison. the 2a7 has shorter gearing meaning it can theoritically move around quicker than the strv122B+ in most scenarios

How come you bring so much fuel for the gripen? I'm not as good as you or play at top tier yet but I don't think I've ever needed more than 20minutes of fuel.

The need to reflect the transmission changes to the 2a7v in game. So somewhat of a car guy here: The 2a7v had its gear ratios changed to make it accelerate quicker and can be comparable to the 2a4 (claimed). When you change gear ratios to make something accelerate quicker....you usually always trade off top speed. Hence the 2A7V reduced top speed is reflected here but the other side to that trade off isn't. Now don't get me wrong the 2a7v is still pretty quick with all its engines upgrades. But I think because the top speed and acceleration go hand in hand....you shouldn't implement one without the other.

Helis are more efficient than a giant profile of a plane flying in the open sky with zero cover while using laser guided munitions, whereas helis can hide behind objects, mountains, trees, etc. So yes, they can be a bit more annoying.

All of the best Br*tish planes aren't in their tech tree, so the best leopards not being in the german tree isn't really something mindblowing.

Justin, the Leopard 2A7V is still better than the STRV 122B+. Yes the STRV 122 has more armour than the Leopard, but the Leo only lacked front armour on the hull. But still enjoy your content.

Dm53 makes no difference at top tier. The M95 will go through all the same weak points that Dm53 will. The ONLY thing the 2A7 has is Gen 3 thermals.
