The original top thrill dragster had a hydraulic launch and no reverse spike. Top thrill 2 has a swing lsm launch and reverse spike

This looks similar to Kingda Ka, isn’t it the same model, or?

When it was still top thrill dragster, they were the same model (intamin hydraulic launch) but different heights and slightly different layouts. During 2023, zamperla replaced the hydraulic launch with a multi pass lsm launch and a 420ft vertical spike, so they are now different models.
