I'm so happy for you that you got to experience Malmö during the Malmoe festival! That's probably when Malmö is at it's best! I'm born ('65) and raised in Malmö! When I grew up in Malmö i found Malmö to be a really boring small industrial town! I unfairly compared Malmoe to Copenhagen, Berlin - etc! But as the years passed, both the heavy industries like the shipwharf and the textile industries moved out of Malmoe and Malmoe had to "reinvent itself"! And did so very well! I have gone from - "I can't wait to move away" to - "I'm a proud local patriot and I love Malmoe!" I strongly doubt that there is another city in Scandinavia that has as much culture, restaurants and cafes Per Capita! Today I cannot see myself moving to any larger city in Sweden, I'm even doubtful if I can move to Copenhagen? Simply put - Malmö is fantastic! It is the underappreciated hidden gem of Scandinavia! Malmö is also unusually cheap - compared to the rest of Sweden and indeed Scandinavia! Unless you go to "Saluhallen" - where you had noodles! Compared to the rest of Malmö! Saluhallen is eye-wateringly expensive! At my favorite part of Malmoe - Möllevångstorget aka Möllan - You can easily find a excellent meal for a third of what you pay at Saluhallen! Möllan, is only a few blocks away from Folkets Park! Also you missed the beach! Close to Lilla-torg = the little square, where you went to Form Design Centre! You have one of Malmös loveliest parks and a short walk through the park and beyond - you have the Copacabana beach of Malmö - Ribersborgs strand aka Ribban! Visit Malmö! Stay for at least a week!

Thank you, Bod for your comment! I lived in Malmoe for two years and I miss it so much! Mollan is the best and I remember good times with friends and cheap beer or burgers! You explained the missed spots perfectly!

Yeah, great city if you like criminality, bombings, theft. Not to mention horrible politicians that keep wasting peoples tax money. Oh and it's worth mentioning that Malmö is actually running at a loss, the rest of us in Sweden has to give money to Malmö for it to keep going. Hmm, I wonder why that is... (except bad politicians of course) one can just add 1 and 1 and get the answer. So you might somehow like Malmö, but most sane people would not.

@@OneSpread It is very unsafe compared to old swedish standards but that still depends a lot on what area and what time of day. It is more dangerous if you are white and young and out numbered.
I've watched and subscribed to sooo many travel vlogs but yours will always be my favorite. The audio and picture quality is just perfect. The detailed description of food, places and experiences is what makes your vlogs stand out among others. Last and the best thing I like is your editing skills. The timing, angle, music...everything is on point! You have mastered the art of editing.
This video was so eclectic. You pack a lot of fun in one day! Glad to see you visiting smaller, not as well-known cities. Each time you visit out-of-the-way places it's fun to Google to learn more!.
Oh my that salted liquorice looked mouthwatering! Love salt and salty liquorice soo much 😍😍

Love salt liquorice also, but man its so brutal. Its like Djungelvrål but 10times saltier.
Wow! Good production value and fun to see the city where I've lived for 6 years in such a positive light! Living in Malmö - Malmö festivalen is not my personal favorite, however I am glad that our tourists can enjoy it!
Perfect upload time!! I’m going to Malmö in a few weeks and this was super helpful!!
You guys!! It’s so good to see you back in Europe! It was hilarious when you went to the museum! That looked like so much fun, and it’s nothing I’ve seen before, I also adore the little food markets you find, can’t wait for the next one to see what you get up to!
I love Malmo, and was there last year during Midsommer. with my wife. We spent a week there. Lots of things to do and a very livable place that my wife and I from California would consider moving to. We love the people.
Been watching for a few years now and this has been one of my favourites! Thanks for cheering up my dinner break 😀

This is lovely quality and the care and research you put in shows. Thank you!
I did a day trip to Malmo from Copenhagen and saw a beautiful sunset near the Turning Torso.
That food tasting in the museum 😂 I love taking those boat trips, mostly at the first day so that I have an idea of the city's layout.
This was so fun to watch!!! YALL helped me out a lot!
I loved the one time I went to Malmo, can´t wait to go back someday! Great video!
Uggh! Taking toe jam for the team, another great video, thanks guys!
Alison, thanks for taking one for the team, that Stinking Bishop TOE JAM and Eric eating that Salted Licorice ( BAKING SODA 😂) we now know what NEVER to try. That was pretty cool seeing those beer can bottles under the bridge. Love doing tours that helps you learn a little bit more about the city you're in.

If you can past the smell, and taste a larger piece of Stinking Bishop it's really delicious. The taste will overwhelm the smell if you have a larger piece. Something to do with surface area to volume ratio.
Loving the video! 💛
Loved all the disgusting food! We did a great boat trip in Copenhagen which looked very similar to yours in Malmo. :) Great episode!
It was fun watching this video and the beer garden is interesting.
Finally caught up with your videos in real time.... I loved Malmo, so quirky
Alison's face after smelling the rotten fish was priceless, and that small square you were in is lovely, I was there last year.

I love Malmo great video!
I love the way you described the food your eating very well done.
the castle has a really good and unexpected museum, also we sneaked a peek in the Savoy, an amazing art nouveau building with the cutest little library, oh and near to the castle in the grounds we had a great organic soup with free top ups!!
Great fun video, thanks!
Going to be there in a few weeks! I jotted down the Soluhall, it looked pretty great.
Ok y'all had us at that intro and BEER GARDEN & SWEDISH BARBECUE! 😘👍Great video and thanks for taking us along on this exploration of Malmo, Sweden! 🖖😍
Love your backpack Allison!!!
Love that you went to the disgusting food museum. Glad You didn’t get nauseous! Don’t understand how root beer made the list though. Allison eating that spider donut, priceless!
Sweden was awesome the Vasa Museum is incredible
Omg loved this! The disgusting food museum is officially on my list.
Glad you came to Malmö to experience everything, and you really came at the right time of year- good weather and the city festival that's every year for a week in August. Hope you come back to Scandinavia soon. (After those 50-ish states..)

I recently moved to Malmö and love this content.
We’re looking at visiting Malmö in July this year. It looks a great place to visit! Thanks guys 👍
Eric does a great Donald Duck impression!! Lol. Thanks for sharing guys!! You rock!
I’m so sad I didn’t get to meet y’all when y’all were here. It would have been such fun. But so glad you enjoyed Malmö
haaa I LOVE the salted licorice. I buy it in bulk to take home when I'm in Sweden.
Great video, very well done.
I love Malmö .
Your trip is great.I am watching to with love.🍾
I visited Malmo Sweden last June for at least 10 days. I saw Olympic Days, near West Harbor. I saw a truck full of High School Graduation party, heard fireworks and cars honking their horns. I can't wait for my next trip to Malmo next year.
5:27 I miss my beloved campus WMU & 7:13 Malmö Festivalen. Enjoy Fika & Cheers!!
Hoping to be there in December, nice helpful video!
SO glad you went to Pink Head. I live in Västra Hamnen (where turning torso is) and I have eaten at Pink Head endless times.
Love the vlogs, you're brave for trying the worst but it was worth watching your facial reactions!!!❤👍👍
Lol, your facial reaction to the salty licorice was the same as the cats who get brain freeze.
Lovely to have you in my hometown! How long will you be here? Thanks for great videos! All the best, Erik
Mikkeller is my fav! They have lots of bars all over Europe and a couple in the States. I always seek them out. Like one In Copenhagen is a ramen shop! It’s awesome.
You will love Norway, stunning country
Laughed so much I cried ! Kudos to you both for trying those disgusting foods.
Superb!
Next time you are in Sweden you have to come to Karlskrona. A city built on islands and it one of the most sunny places in Sweden. It also has a interesting history. It was built 1680 as a marine base. An architect drew the city and then it was built. Its a lovely summertown. I can give you a guided tour if you want, or at least show you som hot spots.
One of my favourite things is hearing Americans call things European "Do you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down?" (Did love the video though :))

That bbq brisket sandwich was kicking Eric's a$$!!! Lol😂
I love my Sweden ❤️
I gave you guys a thumbs up for being brave enough to try the bushtucker food! :)
Malmö is a nice city. Wish I was able to spend more time there. The friend I was with got sick so we had to head back to where we where staying. I was looking forward to taking pictures around the city.

Great video from my home city :-)
You left the American south and immediately found great barbecue in Sweden😁
Missed Malmo while in Copenhagen in 2009. Time to go back! Thanks Adventures!
When you head back to Copenhagen you have to check out War Pigs in the Meatpacking District. Best BBQ I've ever had, great aesthetic and a super cool part of town. Oh, and they brew on site!

totally agreed warpigs.dk/ and a side note ... its American inspired BBQ and Brews (Texan i think they say) - so you can tell us all how close they came
Allison eating that deep fried tarantula so casually...then reacting with the "it's not that good" was worth the price of admission!!! Lmao!!!
Not sure we could handle the disgusting food museum... weak stomachs! Although root beer is one of our favourite drinks! We absolutely love your channel keep up the amazing work!
Oh man, I would pay you guys to watch Eric react more to salted licorice. He really let his inner Donald Duck out! I’m feeling old knowing my visit to Malmo years ago predated the bridge. We got there via hydrafoil and once in Malmo there was just a small shopping area near the water launch. I feel like I could visit every place I traveled to in the 1970-1980’s again and it would be like going someplace completely new. Another great vlog you two!
Watch The Bridge! Also watch The Killing! Two of the greatest crime thrillers of all time! You don't know what you re missing!!
Awesome looking place
malmo is lovely. i was there in 2018. definitely want to make a trip back, i was there for a day then went back to copenhagen that evening. went on a beer crawl basically after doing a city walking tour then went to see malmo ff that night play orebro then late trip back on the train. en fantastisk stad
The TV show The Bridge is awesome. It’s subtitled, but trust me it’s worth a watch! Enjoy Malmo.
Malmö probably has the best food culture in Sweden tbh :)
Allison’s comment after eating the spider “it’s not good”, I laughed so hard I woke my daughter up 😂
I would never laugh at Alison but her face cracked me up here! 7:32
Hi from Malmö, first day here. So glad you sampled the Disgusting Food Museum so I don't have to.
If you can past the smell, and taste a larger piece of Stinking Bishop it's really delicious. The taste will overwhelm the smell if you have a larger piece. Something to do with surface area to volume ratio.
13:09 I have salty licorice. Probably a mild version. I only eat 2-3 pieces at a go. 😂
That disgusting food museum is so unique! Probably a good idea to have the barf bags handy! 😂
The house you see at 5:16 is the oldest house in malmö, it was built early 13th century.
Haha 'strong like bull' best line. After gross food museum I'm glad you ended of yummy food.
Allison did a perfect Kombucha meme girl face when trying that stinky cheese. 😂
Dan Dan Mian is a traditional Szechuan noodles with ground meat, sesame sauce, chilis and pickled Chinese greens.
Presence of mind is adventure. Only a mind can be kind. Perception of adventure varies from person to person. It is the way of using mind or putting it to work which makes the difference. Avoiding errors is on mind of most sane adventurous people. People choose friends because they choose.
I recommend you to the bridge, guys. Try an episode, see what you think. It will also help you understand the difference between the swedes and the danes
Hi! Found You guys through Travel Beans and watched Your videos from Sweden as I am Swedish 🇸🇪 If You ever come back to Sweden, You must try Swedish Devils (Svenskjävlar) which is the worlds saltiest licorice (those at the museum You tired looked like Djungelvrål / Jungle Scream which are not the saltiest licorice) 😉 Svenskjävlar can be tricky to find, but You can order them online as well. Thanks for sharing your videos 🙏🏽 And welcome back to Sweden 🇸🇪 Visit up north! There is much more of the country to see than the three biggest cities, I promise 😉
This made me laugh so much when u ate the salted liquorice
So funny seeing your expressions when eating smelling Stinking Bishop and salt liquorice. Good for you for going for it. All in the name of KZread

Give Stinking Bishop cheese a chance. Yes, it smells a bit ripe (and my colleagues asked me to take it out of our office), but it tastes wonderful. It's called SB because it was wrapped in the leaves of a pear called Stinking Bishop. Great cheese.
the liquorice looked nice
Great vid You should try surströmming med mandelpotatis och tunnbröd👍
Awesome video. Would love to know what program you use to do your titles. I cannot seem to figure out how it’s done.

I've always wondered, how do you both choose which country to visit next?
Cool
When I read the caption “Top things to do in Malmo” I thought you would be at the station, leaving! 🤣
