The nicest beaches are smaller and may not even have a name. But this video covers the popular and accessible beaches so it's very good.

Nice drone work, you didn't make it to the deep south shore but you could easily do another top 10 there if you ever get the chance. Keji Seaside Adjunct is probably the most beautiful beach in Nova Scotia. It's a bit of a hike though but well worth it.

The Beaches in Nova Scotia are amazing my 2 favorite when we went there are Chimney Corner... beautiful clear water nice and private and warm and Carters beach stunning white sand beautiful water (even though its quite cold) thanks for doing this I will add some to my list for next time...

You’ve missed all the beaches along the Northumberland straight, which are the warmest water beaches in NS

This video was beaches on the South Shore and Halifax. I will get Northumberland Strait beaches one day in the futures.

Carter's Beach is by far #1, followed by Inverness Beach( Cape Breton )

Go down to the tip of the south shore.

Would black flies be a problem on these beaches?

@@travelnovascotiabeyond Enjoyed the video, but can't really recall experiencing a lot of blackflies on any NS beach (Salt Water that is). Usually there's enough breeze to keep most flying insects at bay. On a wind-free, warmer temperature day, horseflies might be an issue though.

I don't remember ever experiencing bad blackflies at a beach because there is usually enough wind in the day and they are not a problem after sunset. Occasionally other types of flies (thinking about it sand flies are as annoying as blackflies) can be an issue but they are usually localized in patches and not In the areas were you swim at. Though if you notice a section where the wind has thrown a large amount of seaweed up on shore, you may want to avoid that area. Many of these beaches have fantastic hiking beyond the ends of their beaches and flies can be an issue for some sections.

Don’t worry about the blackflies, the mosquitoes just before sunset are worse. What will really get you in midday in the sun is the green heads. Anyone from New England will know them. They are nasty.

I can't speak for all of these beaches but Clam Harbour, Lawrencetown,, Rainbow haven beach and Martinique beach do not have blackflies, the breeze keeps them away

True, it's really beautiful, but there's no people...

Thanks for the comment. There are no people because I picked an early morning day that no one would be around because of the drone. Lots of people don't like a drone flying over them.
