I own a couple of kabar's I would definitely look into the becker series as I found them to be the more durable kabar knives

Kind of cool and amazing that the Kabar is still a best seller 😁 I've always liked the SPEW but ended up getting a very similar design, the Artisan Cutlery Sea Snake, love and use it regularly.

The test of time is the harshest test most times and Kabar has passed that one

By far without question the Chad Weatherford collection are far and away the best not just fixed blades but the best knives PERIOD !!! Especially for skinning and hunting knives. If you are a hunter or butcher you can't find a better knife. Definitely worth the little bit extra they may cost . Me myself I'd gladly pay for quality. And all Weatherford knives are of the highest quality. They will still be being used long after im gone no question about it

@SMKWcom I absolutely believe that I shot him a txt and he replied almost immediately . Because when I got the knife the blade had a little surface rust Witch everyone that knows anything about good blades know that,that's absolutely NOTHING to even worry about. A little Case Paste and it looks newer than new. He apologized ( Witch wasn't necessary because it didn't happen on his end im guessing it wasn't airtighT In you guys case. Again NOT A PROBLEM NOT BLAMING ANYONE IT HAPPENS. ) but it shows the Character of the man. A real classic act can't wait to have 1 or 2 of everything he does. Thank you SMKW for sending me the catalog with his gear you guys are awesome

How in the world did Demko's Freereign not get on the list? It is very difficult for me to look at this video is anything other than an advertisement for things that you were selling. I own the minimalist in D2. I wear it as a neck knife. I am very happy to have it.

The Weatherford would be the top. Easily. They are by far the best quality knives I've ever owned and used. Check them out if you like quality you'll love them. If you haven't already

Gotta love CRKT names

The Ka-Bar USMC knife had the worst build and finishing quality I’ve seen outside of 10 knock offs. I had this out of the box for maybe a minute or two before I boxed it back up and sent it back. Blade was bent. Paint chipped. Grind looked like it was done by a toddler. I’m amazed people keep them..

They’re all budget blades. What are the best selling GOOD fixed blades?

Ka bar is junk, the handle is off centre and looks goofy the tang gets so narrow under the guard it always breaks. It’s also criminally overpriced for the spec. Glock knifes for example are much much cheaper, more durable, better sheath and better all round. USA made knives are extremely overhyped and overpriced.

Not everyone who buys the Kabar is running right out in the woods to play Bear fkn Grills . The Kabar knife is an all time classic and is absolutely beautiful for just what it is. To you its junk sure. Lemme guess it didn't hold up when you tried smashing it with a baton right? Use the right tool for the right job.....that term will get you a lot further in life. Go cry elsewhere. Kabar makes excellent blades for the price. Be thankful and quit being so stupid.
