I'm a couponer myself and i'm trying to figure out why people are buying ANY personal care products on ebay for MORE than what they could just go buy it for at walmart or target. I get it if it's a super rare product or some variety of something that they love but it's been discontinued. But regular everyday shampoo, deodorant, razors, ect....I don't get. And for buying stuff from the people who coupon....I guarantee that they are still making decent profit by selling it to you at "rock bottom prices." Good couponers literally get a good amount of that stuff for free or their only OOP (out of pocket) is the sales tax. People coupon at CVS and EVERY week is a money maker week for them. I've personally walked out of both Target and CVS many times and walked out with a bag full of items AND more money than when I walked in. Good tips about the food and sauces though. I never thought those kinds of things would be good ebay sellers. But...again with couponing...so many of those sale items could potentially be completely free.(esp if you're area does not tax food items) I'm in Ohio and we don't have Kroger we have Giant Eagle and any coupons worth .99 cents or less are doubled so I've gotten ridiculous amounts of food for free.

Robin Perdue wow your lucky in Florida they don't double coupons anymore they use to YEARS ago. It blew my mind at 16 cashiering at Winn Dixie when they doubled in the 80's n the Would walk out with 789$ worth of food for $7-$3. That I did it n my parents actually sent me shopping for them n I saved them tons of $$$.

There are many reasons a person will pay more then what an item is sold in stores. Not everyone can run to the store and get and item. Not everyone has that brand or item in their stores or that store that sells it by them at a cheep price. Some people also have issues going to the store. Anxiety or handicapped. Some people just like buying online and not have to deal with going to the store.

Some people have never even heard of extreme couponing..Men especially...Plus everything is going digital and folks like the convenience of home delivery.. Amazon Prime Pantry might be a big online competitor however - as they offer prices that rival Wal-Mart and honor coupons on most of the Proctor & Gamble products that were promoted in this video..

You nailed it on making our stores diversified, Lindey😁~I have been CLEANING-UP at my local Fry's here in Arizona...aka Krogers/Ralphs, etc. Over the Summer, they blew SO MANY different categories out the door; I was able to purchase HUGE LOTS of gourmet foods items (5 Rabbits Granola, different speciality sauces, Ruby Bay Salmon Jerky packs, speciality boxed microwave kettle corn, Cajeda Caramel Sauce, Concord Candy Apple Mix), supplements (SOS Hydration, Sovereign Silver, Goji and Macha Powder, Ginger Rescue Tabs, BC Aspirin Powders, etc...). Large tubes of Arnicare Gel, BC Aspirin Powders, and more...Bigelow Girl Scouts flavor teas, Nespresso Coffee Pods, Baby items, toys, school supplies, pet items, cedar grilling papers, make-up, toiletry items, you about name it, they were getting rid of it; plus, all of it is totally fresh and completely fine. Many of the products were around a $1 to $3 and go on ebay from aprox $6.00~24.00, each, so going to do a variety of lots, depending on shipping rates, as you were showing on this great video🙄:) Landed 300 boxes of the Crystal Light Pure box mixes for .99 each, which has been discontinued so seems to be selling fairly quickly~ Also, found a dozen Rove Tritan 60oz bottles with ice cubes, for $4.00 each, and also in demand. Spent about $300 and looking for a return of probably $3,000 plus. Also, check Safeway/Von's for great discounted goods, although they do not cut low as Fry's here😲. The lesson here is that we never do know what might sell, and THX MUCH for all the help:)

Pawn store owners are a great resource for learning what you can and cannot get away with selling. I learned from them that you do not need receipts when buying merchandise from garage sales or flea markets ;-)

One time my husband and I had a garage sale and he thought I was crazy trying to sell a package of maxi-pads, especially because it was opened and missing 2. But it was a BIG package, like 40 or something, and individually-wrapped. So I priced it $2, and it was the very first thing that sold. He was shocked but I wasn't. We ladies have to buy all the same stuff as men and our clothes and everything else "for women" costs more, so we get thr-if-ty for essentials.

OK I have a question, if you don't mind. Perishables and fragile items can't just be thrown in the bin but actually have to be handed to a postal worker. Doesn't that just add a huge amount to time having to stand in line? What I love about clothing is you can just dump them in the chute and go!

I can see it adding a huge amount of time if it's on a daily basis but food items don't tend to sell daily for me. Maybe once a week? And I have an easy little Pack 'n Ship place where there is NEVER a line so it's super easy - it's not so bad :) Fragile items I just slap a sticker on and call it good but I don't really ship glass! LOL

Do you buy the padded mailers separately and ship via usps? Do you charge for shipping? Thanks so much, your videos are so helpful. I'm just starting out.

Great video!! I didn't know you could sell groceries on eBay. Cool! I used to be a couponer with the huge folder & all but stopped cause, I realized I was spending money on stuff that we didn't use. It was really addicting too. I buy mostly all natural & organic stuff. I still use coupons for everything that comes through our door. Also, I follow hip2save already!!! Love that site!!!

Same here! I found that we were only actually consuming around 30% of what I got... donated the other 30% and the last of it was... *gulp*... WASTED!! Because it was forgotten about in the abundance. And it was a lot of work! Colin at Hip2Save is truly adorable!

On your olay body wash if you paid $2 sold it for under $6 or under $5 plus the cost to ship it so you make $3 give or take before shipping? Plus you have to go mail and the cost to mail it.That sounds like way too much work.

This is awesome! Great ideas! I wonder if it was more worth it in 2016 because shipping was less. I'm assuming the prices you mentioned were with shipping included.

How do you ship those Crystal Lights & drink mixes? If you sell it for $4, the shipping must be half that amount? You have to sell them in lots to make it matter.

Do you offer free shipping for those heavy items? I've seen a lot of sellers do free shipping at an already low price. It makes me question selling stuff like shampoo and body wash.

Am I missing something? If you wanted to buy any of those products aren't they available cheaper on amazon, walmart, or target? The BBQ sauce for instance, 5 of them at walmart is under $13 and ships to my store for free for pickup. Or if i'd like to pay shipping to my house its another $6. So at the most $19. Why pay more on Ebay than straight from the store?
