Funny how charts like this were bit more relevant back then. TV was so dominant and one of the few ways to get content. But in a weird way it also made things more exciting.

It happended to be a unique sound for 3-4 years with the slapping bass funk influence and latin crossover sounds and a number of producers at the top of their game.

i was 11 when i watched this! where had time gone?! music was the best in the 90's. miss it soooo bad :(

Everyone loves Brit just bcuz the way she is, fuck the rules! She has been lip syncing her own voice for 2 decades and she is one of the most famous and successful artists of the universe!! How to explain this? ... she is humble, simple, cute, lovely, beautiful etc etc ❤️❤️

I really loved this edition and but i didnt want my collector to have this one as that i already watched it when i was 9 - but i have all the Christmas ones from the Red Pop era from 1995, 1996 & 1997 and i have the original broadcasts from 1982 & 1994 which were shown on BBC Four.

Rap is jiggity head pop that people ascribe too much attention too. It plays to the lowest common denominator and asks everyone to start believing and stop detracting without an explanation why. The white elephant in the room is and has been rap music. Destructive, meddelesome and downright dangerous in the wrong hands. Rap and some of it's 'artists' has been, and is resposible for more ethnic and black on black deaths across the planet than outright warfare.

I know it was the 90's and stuff but the outfit is AWFUL!

(And this is only one link- and it involves talk-singing, no choreography, and is from a mysterious group I've never heard of. And upon audio comparison, it sounds questionably like the studio recording...) But yes, please do go on.

She has always lip synced. She really can not sing vs Christina Aguilera.
