As always, I enjoyed your video. My first niche fragrance was Creed Aventus for her, and I adore it, (and use it sparingly, so I'll have it for a while). From watching your videos over the past few months, I purchased TT Delox and BDK Rouge Smoking - I love both. Gentle Fluidity Gold is my favorite from this list with Bal D'Afrique a close second (I have a sample of the fragrance and the body cream which is luxurious). I think my next purchase will be Roja Dove's Reckless...after I pay my Christmas bills!

I started my niche collection with Byredo "Bal D"Afrique" and wearing it while on vacation in Africa was an entire vibe! I blind buy my fragrances as I'm not trying to go to a mall during this panini and I have the majority of these fragrances. I love the blind buy! It feels like Christmas! Another fabulous, thoughtful video! You are one of the few that gives *thorough* thought before just throwing out recommendations. As for HOS I knew something went down but never knew the details because you graciously didn’t go into them. You’re a class act and this supports your credibility. It’s so unfortunate. And it’s not about giveaway products it’s about them operating in poor taste. Also, I’m absolutely for influencers getting the opportunities they deserve, but HOS was kind of cheapening their image with *excessive* sales and tossing free products to tooo many just randomly where there wasn’t even really a fragrance audience I literally just got my 1st 2 HOS fragrances (and both you recommended way back).

Awww thank you Crystal. When I say you peep err thang🤣😂. I noticed that too about sending random reviewers that NEVER spoke of their fragrances or even wore their fragrances with no real audience PR. But whatever 🙄 I hate that I actually really love my fragrances from them. But the liquidation " everything must go" closing going out of Bussiness sales also left a bad taste in my mouth and shows how the brand needs a new marketing team

I love Delina La Rosee, and Hautx Bijoux I love those musky floral, citrusy type of scents. I have perfumes with various scent profiles for musky floral and citrus floral are my faves.

We have a similar nose. I love most of the fragrances here and now I gotta try the others because you said so! But that Love Dont Be Shy OMGEEE! I went to Kilian in Paris to smell Good Girl Gone Bad(because it was so hyped last year) & I was not impressed. The SA got a sensed of what I liked & sprayed Love Don’t Be Shy and it was love at first sniff! 😍 She said thats Rihanna’s signature scent also.

Girl so the D’Afrique is bomb for real. I’m about to get my second bottle of 11th hour although I had it for a little over a month 2/3 of it is gone. I love it. My new fav for this season. I’m in the Bay Area so nobody but nobody is up on that besides the bougie🤑🤑. I’m going to try gentle fluidity. It’s not the first time you mentioned it along with some Tiziana… the way you speak of those says it’s all that and then some.. Tax season.. the only time I really treat myself.

It is beautiful. But in my opinion it's very similar to jo malone myrrh and tonka - which some would find masculine. So although it's beautiful, it's not a safe fragrance for someone just beginning a Niche collection

With the Delina’s, I dove head first 🤣. Exclusif, OG and now I’m awaiting for La Rosee🤗. Delina La Rosee had me shook. I’ve been looking for a lighter feminine summer rose scent. I didn’t want La Rosee because I had the previous two. I tested it on my skin and it was beautiful & lasted for hours on my skin. As a fragrance collector (yes, I’m claiming it now) its different enough for me to warrant having all three. 🌹

My fist Niche fragrance that I recently purchase is Cherry 🍒 Garden and Delina which I love...I agree with you about Hauts Bijoux being A safe blind buy.. However, the reason that I didn't make that one my first purchase, is because Hacivat smells slightly similar to Hauts Bujoux in my opinion and that is what I want next and seen as though I'm only going to have A small collection I want to beware of having similar scent. THANKS btw for putting me on to Hacivat, turn out not only do I love eating pineapple I like smelling like it too.😊

I just started my fragrance journey and bought MFK 540 Extrait...Love it!!! Also in my collection is Parfums de Marly Safanad. It smells amazing on me and I had to pick it up even tho I know that Delina is the favorite. Unfortunately Delina doesn't smell good on me. On my wish list is Gentle Fluidity Gold!! Very different from lost cherry. I own lost cherry and I love it. But there's no comparison. Rouge smells like it could be related to hypnotic poison and love don't be shy

I love a dent too 😉🤍 Niche starter kit suggestions would be Casamorati Lira, Amouage Sunshine or Honour (Honour being easier to understand than Sunshine but you have to like tuberose) and Memo Marfa and just my opinion but I feel that Bond NY Nights is a better “starter” than Greenwich 😁 Sorry 😉😂😘

Hey Jacqueline 👋🏾❤ NY Nights is amazing 👏🏾 🙌🏾 😍 it's just that the Ginger note is not going to be foe everybody. Although it's am amazing scent and one of my favorites, so many people I put on to it can't understand it. Greenwich village is an easy more mass appealing fragrance

Hundred Silent Ways is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 it’s just perfect and I don’t fall in love with fragrances like that, Fell in love with it yesterday when my samples came, vain and naive was also nice, and Ani smells like a nice vanilla wafer. I’m mad I got Hacivat instead of Zenne, Because I think I would have loved it like 💯 silent ways☹️ only got Hacivat because I heard it smells like Aventus for her and wanted to try it and didnt like the Aventus or Hacivat, but out of 12 fragrances I tried, 💯 silent ways was the winner my first bottle worthy 🏆 after about 32 nearly depressing samples 😅

@@Ai_TheGreat Ani is cute, she cute 👧🏻but I’m looking for boxer droppers 😅 since I fell in love with Versace Eau Fraiche Men and I have hoarding tendancies I’m buying only perfumes I love as much or more than that Versace so so far only 100 silent ways I like as much as that, 540 and Ani some cute casuals, I have to try the 540 extrait to see if it’s a boxer dropper, I live in the Caribbean so I have to wait patiently on samples.

When I went to test out Bal Dafrique, I couldn’t smell it at all! I was so disappointed because I have been hearing so many great things about it. Hopefully I’ll come across it again and give it another try. Hope I’m not anosmic to it! I love your content!

Thank you. How many fragrances did you smell prior to smelling it? Also, did the SA spray the tester or did you? Sometimes they spray one little squirter on the dabber. I need for them to saturate the tester. Also, did you spray it on your skin? Or they're bottle may have gone bad from sitting in the light for hrs. Try again and let me know

@@Ai_TheGreat I sniffed a few before and a few after and was able to smell them just fine. Tried both on a card and on my skin. Sprayed both by myself and the SA. It may have been a bad bottle. I definitely will try again and let you know.

Great video! Sorry to hear about you house of sillage experience. I have never been interested in them because i just never got a good vibe from them which may be due to how certain influencers push their fragrances. I am currently on a low buy and I have decided I would buy only one more fragrance before spring, I'm struggling between intio side effects and guerlain spiritueuse double vanille, which one would you recommend? Also, I had to part ways with my coco mademoiselle because I just couldn't stand that fragrance anymore but I am interested in Creed aventus for her, is the patchouli note similar in both fragrances?

Hey Rhia 👋🏾 have you smelled either side effects or spiritueuse double vanille? They're very different from eachother- so it's difficult to say which one to choose. It's up to which smell you prefer. They're both beautiful. One is vanilla, the other is spicy tobacco. Also, I can smell the patchouli in both chanel and Creed

540 just smells iconic. Like when you smell it you’ve never smelled something so extravagant before you just fall in love. But GF Gold is so beautiful she’s addicting she makes you smell like the prettiest girl in the room.

I wanted to love LDBS Extreme so badly, but something about the first 20 minutes of it my skin killed it for me. After that i really really liked it, possibly better than the original (which I have) but if I hate the initial smell I don’t think I want to splurge on something I have to work that hard to like. If the Tom Ford Private Line is considered niche my first niche full bottle was Jasmin Rouge (LOVEEE) and second was Lost Cherry, but if it doesn’t then Delina and Delina Exclusif were both because I got them both at the same time. The exclusif took me about a week to love, and the OG two weeks. After that it was Angels Share, then Baccarat and LDBS, Xerjoff Lira, Greenwich Village and TriBeCa on the way. and a billion niche samples all throughout the timeline. I have a decant of Cassiopia but it smelled like shampoo to me the first time, maybe I should revisit it 🧐

His private line is def feature a high price tag. However the design house is still Tom Ford which doesn't only produce fragrances. That's what separates a designer fragrance from a niche fragrance.

I'm one of those people, we tired of seeing that red bottle. The original i really don't like the smell on intial spray but once it dries down i cannot smell it. Now the extrait in my opinion smells much better and is very long lasting but it reminds me of Delina exclusif

I'm not gonna lie , since the shut down I have gone down the rabbit hole of the niche world and listening to reviews almost obsessively .... I tend to gravitate to channels that like HOS , like you , I think bc I feel like we have at least somewhat similar tastes obviously not 100 % , but I would get a little salty listening to reviewers that received promo products from the brand and then never seem to comment on the fragrances or put them on their lists which makes me think that they don't really truly love the fragrances , makes me click off honestly . And while I am sorry for your experience , it shows how genuine and authentic you are 💖

I’ve just recently purchased Delos and whilst I love it I find the longevity and projection to be very poor…any tips will be greatly appreciated. My all time favourite scent has gotta go to Baccarat Rouge 540 extra it I could bathe in it. Some amazing recommendations

🙌🏽 Bravo for being one of the very few who note a Guerlain fragrance in the niche category where it technically belongs (Soooo often another of their masterpieces, Mon Guerlain is listed as “designer”. Not that it’s a huge deal either way since neither designation is synonymous with quality, I just like to see Guerlain get her flowers 💐 😆)

House Of Sillage has pissed my sister off, how dare they kmt! I noticed a lot of their fragrances will suddenly go on sale but anyway they don't ship to my end of the world so I didn't care lol... I love Cassiopea . Fragrantica said it smells like the grown up version of Brittany spears Fantasy and it does ! I got it for that reason 😂😭

They promised me discovery kits for my giveaway. We had dialogue - that I have receipts of . Many people love them, doesn't mean they should send everyone fragrances. I had an audience that I influenced to purchase their fragrances since I was doing dedicated reviews on my chanel about their fragrances. So.....
