It seems that Seilen Haokip n his community is declaring themselves as far better than honourable cm N. Biren n cm''s community hence Haokip's community is appropriate to be clubbed in General category. I bet they won't give up ST status. But honourable cm N. The hill areas or tribal areas in the state of manipur is governed seperately to that of the valley districts as enshrined in article 371C for the protection of the tribals and their land. N Biren Singh has always time and again tried on many occasions to enforce MLR act 2015 that directly treatens the tribal population and their land. He is running a dictatorial form of government and it will be best if he is removed. What happened yesterday was a peaceful demonstration which every indian citizen has the right, to hold peaceful protest and demonstrations. He was trying to suppress those peaceful protests and demonstrations by the use of force. What was being demanded was also right, protection of tribals and their land as enshrined in the indian Constitution which he has always time and again tried to grab using different means like protected forests, wildlife Sanctuary, etc. The land in question belongs to the tribals and they have every right to protest

@A7FXU Did I say its from 371C? Did you just assume things that you do not know? I think its from your rapist UGs. Read Indian Forest Act 1927. Supposed if the government have to construct a road through your house they cannot forcefully evict you, the government need to have agreement with the owner. Yes they can create these reserved forest but they need to have an agreement with the owners or people who holds the propriety rights. All these reserved forest and sanctuaries are own by the village chief and tribals. The chief can issue land pata to his people it means the propriety rights is in the hands of the village chief or the head of the tribals. The state government is misusing their power. For example you must have seen houses in the middle of a road in china or other countries it is because the government and the owners do not have an agreement so their land is spared. Simple.

The mothers and sisters were disallowed to participate... They were beaten up... Yet, we calm ourselves, but we were still halted by the police.. Still we kept our cool.. The incident happened when the police force started firing tear gas to the crowd who were prepared for peaceful protest. Tell me now.... There was no KNO nor ZRA.... It was purely innocent people against the violent Law enforcers. It is sad that CM is uninformed about such atrocities over the Kukis.

in manipur we have kuki, naga and meetei... assembly seats in the state legislatureis 60... kukis dominate 10 seats... if kukis are refugees or foreigner let the assembly seats be reduced to 50 seats😎
