In private sector generally companies have 1-2 microbiologist that too experienced. Working in pathology lab won't make good money.

if you want to do research and aiming to do PhD, then general microbiology is good but if you want to do job right after your post gradaution then medical or any other branch like industry, food microbiology will be better.

sciences especially life sciences colleges will be regular full days because to manage practical and theory sessions due to more syllabus to cover and FEE depends on if you write states exams for universities and colleges, depends on rank ,reservation but when it comes to normally 1.5lakhs

Yes it is one of the emerging field, after completing your graduation you can either try for government exams like in fssai as Food Safety Offucer or private jobs in company like Pepsico, Nestle etc. or else you can do PhD
